Poems: Part II

I have been writing poetry now for soon three years. I had to look just for the purpose of this description. In those three years worth of poems, I can see my journey, the path I walked. I feel like the description I wrote for the first book of poems is still to date for this one. But I'd say that I went deeper into my dark side, the hidden truth of my past that is not so hidden anymore. While editing this book, reading the poems, I found new meaning to them, but I also remembered who I was at the time, when I wrote them. And I love that I have my writing to go back to as milestone of my progress, my journey. I can pinpoint everything in my life, and compare where I was to where I am, and so far, I am so proud and happy of the out come. Each year, I get better, healthier, happier. Despite the lows, I still am writing the highs, and thank God for that, because I can truly see light even if it's all night. And I hope this book will be a source of light during your own night. Thank you for reading me.
