About this ebook
Be careful what you wish for...
Raymond Sharpe has stopped telling people about his weather curse. Nobody believes him when he says the city suffers heavy rain if he doesn't bring an umbrella with him.
But after a masked man breaks his curse and promises him great fortune, Raymond's stream of unexpected luck suddenly turns upside down. He realizes his new power is a double-edged sword that can quickly turn the cure into something much worse than the curse.
Now Raymond is faced with a choice. Will he learn from his mistake or be forced to live with the consequences?

Introduction
The story you’re about to read has not gone through any major editing and is provided free of charge because I am learning the craft of writing in English (my second language) and would love to hear your feedback if you get to the end.
I’m a firm believer in the power of repetition and the equally powerful force known as ‘habits.’ I didn’t learn English by going to school, or by studying grammar. I learned it by reading and writing, and then reading and writing some more. I’ve been doing this steadily for about two years now, after deciding I was going to write and publish a book in English, the scariest thing I set my mind on doing in the past few years.
I hear all the time established authors talk about their style and their voice, and how they craft their stories. If you ask me about my style, about my voice, about world-building and pacing and tension, all you’ll get from me is a gaping mouth.
I have no answers to these questions. I don’t know what my style is; I don’t even know what having a ‘voice’ is supposed to mean.
I hope you can help me figure out some answers to these questions.
