––––––––
You can see them more and more often on Instagram, Facebook, or other social networks: Fascinating crystal ball photos, but the fascination that glass balls exert on us humans is not new, it has existed for many centuries. In former times and partly still today they were and are used as traditional requisites, among other things for clairvoyance. They serve fortune tellers and clairvoyants as a transmission medium and should make hidden things visible. Glass spheres have also been used in parapsychology time and time again throughout history. The main aim was to research special forms of human perception. Today, the crystal ball has lost much of its spiritual and mystical effect, but its beauty can still hardly be ignored.
