Two years of vicious war had finally ended, thousands of Dragons had died with three times that number seriously injured.

Ambassadors of each clan had been called to attend the newly formed High Council, as they filled the cavern, the Royal Dragons alighted on a high ledge, their blue scales sparkling in the sunlight, when the last clan ambassador took his place the cavern fell into silence, every Dragon waiting for the Queen.

Twice the size of any other Dragon with blue scales edged with gold, she landed on a rock in the center of the cavern.

"I welcome all the clans to the High Council, together we will set the laws that will keep the peace, she boomed across the cavern.

I was hoping that the elite fighting force, the Red Dragons would act as enforcers but it appears that they have been lost to the war, therefore that task will fall on the Greys.

Shanay was only five years old and sat impatiently on the ledge with the other royals as the ambassadors droned on and on with demands and wishes, after many hours the laws were set and the Queen dismissed the High Council.

Shanay was now free to enjoy the evening, she soared above the forests enjoying the sunset, it was then that she noticed a fisherman on a lake
