Letters from the Drinking Town

About this ebook
Do you like bars? Do you like getting the same drink at every bar you go into? Well, Dave does. He spent several years going into every bar in Worcester and having a gin and tonic. He wrote about it in a blog. That became Gin and Tonics Across Worcester: The Book. It wasn't just about the gin and tonic, though it was pretty damned important. It was about why people go to bars. Why does someone pick one bar to be theirs?
After the initial run, Dave went back to write about some of the bars he missed. These are the letters he wrote. These are the dispatches from the trenches in the war of drinking in New England. The letters do go through the bars and what was good, what was bad, and what was just odd. They also look into the world of bar going. Does drinking and poetry mix? Should you date someone from your bar? What do you do if the bartender doesn't give you your change? Should kids be in bars? World beating questions. And we have answers, just as hard hitting.
Come back with Dave as he reports upon the front. They are funny, snarky and sometimes sad. Sit down. Get a beverage. It's always best to be hydrated before reading.
