About this ebook

This is a delightful childrens story which will warm your heart whether you are child or adult.

It would make good bed time reading and could be split over a number of days as it is quite a long story.

It is not just a story though, it is true, and Phoebe is my beautiful Golden Retriever.

I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. The following is a brief extract from the start of the book.

The day that Phoebe was born, the heat was terrible in that city, it seemed that the sun was going to melt the buildings. However her mom was able to give birth to 7 beautiful and plump puppies. The smallest was Phoebe. John and his wife Brenda fell in love with her immediately, it was enough to see how pretty she was with that little belly and the small eyes, she was so tiny that she looked like a cotton ball.

The smallest was Phoebe. John and his wife Brenda fell in love with her immediately, it was enough to see how pretty she was with that little belly and the small eyes, she was so tiny that she looked like a cotton ball.

When little Phoebe turned 8 weeks old, she was finally able to move with John and his wife to a very quiet and beautiful house, where that terrible wave  of heat still seemed about to turn the asphalt into jelly.

When they got home, the first thing she did was look around. She was a bit confused because it was a strange place for her. It is very hard for everyone to reach  a new place with strangers, especially if these new people will become your family. Everything is different, it smells different and you have to adapt.
