Acknowledgments

This book would never have existed had it not been for the beautiful people in my life. First, there is my complete family, my daughter, Cheryll with her multiple aptitudes, who has grown up to be the best friend I ever had. Then there is my grandson, Arthur (who is the finest man I have ever known), along with his talented wife, Kadi. Their generosity with financial help was imperative as was the personal support given me by them and my three young adult, great-grand children: Danny, Ellie and Jessie, all the finest I could leave behind when I leave this earth.

Definitely contributing to the way I see and hear life was John Cage, the very unique composer with whom I had the pleasure of working. He said, Everything is music! and from that I went on to realize that everything is poetry!
