About this ebook
A short insight to the Filipino mystical belief and culture. It is the purpose of this writing to let the readers be reminded of our culture and our folklores for these lores have special functions in Filipino society. These reflect the belief and tradition of Filipinos. Usually lores are explanation of natural occurrence or phenomena through stories that are referred as myth. But as the time goes on, many researches are curious and enthusiastic on the idea, that maybe these so-called folklores may have some basis or parcel of reality. It may be unbelievable but on a creative and rich mind of many Filipinos, these stories have bases. Whether be it true or not, the fact remains that it’s a reflection of our culture.
The stories and information presented are from my own personal experience, research and interviews from people connected or involved in occultism, witchcraft and paranormal. The idea is to present the Filipino folklore traditions, occultism, mysticism and paranormal, as is. Though seems to be simple and basic, we are hopeful that new information may be learned from this writing.
