Mail Order Bride - Miss Marie
Rough Seas
Rain fell around the area, pelting the ground, and a lone figure stood in the falling water. Eyes watched the lights go out one by one across the street, the house that had forsaken him, the house that held all the memories of a happier time, and the house that brought all the dreadful memories to light. He gave a heavy sigh, turned away from the house, and began his trek through the rain back to where he was supposed to be. The moment that he entered the building that housed the others, he was met with stern eyes and worry. He sighed, I'm fine.
One of the other men grumbled, "You're not fine Todd. You were just out in a rainstorm watching that house again! She left you!"
The man named Todd opened his mouth to say something but was interrupted by another, Acutally, if we're getting technical here, he went home early to find her in bed with another man.
Evan!

They all sighed in relief but he connected those old blue eyes to the young ones of Todd, You need to stop though. It's considered stalking and is highly frowned upon.
He straightened up, Understood sir.
The older man entered with a cup of coffe in each hand, one was stretched towards the soaking wet male, it was taken with gratitude. We all have our slip ups Todd but if you're that lonely then I can tell you a very interesting story about a good friend of mine who heard two stories from the grapevine about an officer in Dalley Port and a fireman in Fort Ratchet.
This got the attention of all of them present so they opted to sit in the small lounge area to hear the two interesting tales that their captain had come across. These two men had different situations but they're both very happy with how it turned out.
He sipped his coffee as the others waited in anticipation, Todd opted to sip his as well just as he stated, They both got married to mail order brides.
Immediately coffee spat everywhere and the others laughed at Todd's expense, including the captain. He was grinning at him as he stared in utter shock.
Evan asked, "Is
