About this ebook
It happened by accident. Sandia found herself sucked into another dimension ... another world.
Running from her grandmother's killer through the Black Thorn Forest, Sandia was out of breath and her legs about to fail. It was a small rock she stumbled on that sent her hurtling forward… being sucked into a shining swirling light.
A new world, unlike anything she'd ever seen, a few things were different. Sandia realized she was imparted with magical powers when she wore the red cape her grandmother had gifted her. She could hear a pin drop a thousand feet away, she could fly like the birds back on Copia and see things that no other human could.
Her only problem was that her grandmother's murderer had followed her and now she must avenge her beloved grandmother's death.
Please note that this is not a romance story.

The Red Cape - Diana Legend
Introduction
IN THE LAND OF TAUCIA are seven kingdoms, including the Copia Kingdom. We already visited Izadel and Padian where we met Cinderella.
On her way from Padian, Princess Cinderella meets a girl in the woods who wears a red jacket. The girl is visiting her grandmother’s house at the edge of the woods. Cinderella is concerned about the girl’s safety and asks that some of her guards accompany the girl.
What happens after the guards leave her at her grandmother’s cottage? Continue reading to find out more.
Please note that this is not a romance story, although there is a hint of chemistry between Sandia and Draven.
AUTHORS’ NOTE: Please note that the dialogue is not an accurate depiction of Shakespearean or Elizabethan English. Due to feedback from readers, I have transitioned the dialogue away from Early Modern English to the current use of the language. You will find there are instances of Shakespearean in this book as the transition happens.

Chapter 1
Los Angeles 2025, 8:43 PM
SANDIA BIT HER BOTTOM lip as she stood on the edge of the roof. From her vantage point on the fifty-seven story building, she had a panoramic view of Los Angeles. The city lights twinkled in varying colors. She’d only ever seen lights like these in the forest at night back in her homeland of Taucia.
The din of the traffic on the street below gave her a headache. Three days ago when she arrived in this city, the pain had been almost unbearable. It had been a shell-shocking experience for her and she’d had to adjust to it quickly. Being thrown into a strange and new world was unnerving for her.
A slight breeze flapped her coat around her, bringing back her attention to her situation. The one that had been chasing her was close, she sensed him. He was closing in on her, but she would be damned if she would allow him to catch her.
When they were back in Copia, he’d chased and she’d run. Now it was her time to do the chasing. This evil bastard had killed her grandmother and placed the blame on her friend Draven. Draven was now in the dungeon in chains and scheduled for execution. She must complete her mission before returning to her world.
A sound behind her caused her to turn. The door to the roof opened and a group of teenage boys appeared. There were seven of them. Running along the ledge, Sandia moved with lightning speed toward the darker side of the roof. The boys were laughing and chatting animatedly. They had beer and cigarettes, and one had a bottle of whiskey.
Watching them, Sandia was homesick. Three days ago, she had been a seventeen-year-old girl, about to turn eighteen in two weeks. Now, standing on that building in a strange world, she was a grown woman. Her physical features had changed. Her breasts were fukker and her cheeks more defined. Her entire body looked like Celeste’s, the twenty-six year old girl from her village who just got married. Not only that, the changes affected how Sandia thought and felt.
Her body was responding differently to thoughts of Draven. She closed her eyes and pictured him, wondering where he was. Her heartbeat increased and an unfamiliar yet pleasant sensation presented between her thighs. Shaking her head he pushed the feeling aside and focused on her mission.
A cackle of voices, music and many other sounds reverberated off her brain. Inhaling deeply, she shut them out one by one. Absently she ran a hand over the coat, because she knew that this garment was the reason for all this change. The moment her grandmother had handed it to her she’d felt the tingle when she touched it.
Take this my child. You will have need of it soon,
her beloved grandmother has said.
Along with the coat, Nana had given her a pair of shiny black boots. However, the coat was what caught Sandia’s attention. She’d fallen instantly in love with it.
Nana, I already have a coat just like this one,
she smiled.
The new coat was similar to the one she wore. They were of the same size and color and fitted her the same. But Nana had a twinkle in her eyes.
Nay, my child. They are not the same. Thee will see when thou shall wear it.
But my birthday is in two weeks, why give it to me now?
she asked, savoring the soft feel of the fabric. It had indeed been different to the touch. The slight tingle of her skin as she ran her hand over it had thrilled her. She’d thought
