You're excited - you've pronounced every word correctly, you've used all the materials listed when they were called for, you followed the ENTIRE spell step-by-step. Now - you're waiting for the results. Days turn into months, months turn to years...and nothing. Not so much as one inch of movement. Or - even worse - there was movement...signs of it taking effect, and then...nothing. You think all of your effort has gone to waste. You lash out at any Beings you might have called upon for assistance. You become emotional and feel like you want to scream at the top of your lungs. You even want to abandon all further pursuits into the Liberal Arts, feeling that it might all just be a fantasy. Well - stop right where you are.
