    Introduction

Have you been chasing success but it has been elusive? While there can be several contributing factors, this book identifies fifteen principles that impact the acquisition of success. All of them are related to thinking and ineffective behaviors.

King Solomon, considered to be very wise and writer James Allen said, As a man(person) thinks in his or her heart so is he(she). Later, motivational speaker, Dr. Wayne Dwyer, added, When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. Your thinking and perceptions will have a significant impact on whether you achieve success as you define it.

As you read this book, note that the overarching message is that your behavior and your feelings will influence your success or failure. Knowledge alone will not cause you to change. You must do the hard work of admitting how your thinking and behavior has impacted your achievements. Then you must do the challenging task of revising.

No one can identify what success means for you. There are many nuances of victory, and you must become clear about how you define success. Is it money, excessive material possessions, power, influence, personal growth, or adding value?  It is easier to hit a target when you know for what you’re aiming.

Success for me is fostering growth in myself and others
