INTRODUCTION

This manuscript, although directed toward the scientific community, is not in opposition to the scientific community. However, a balance is needed to show how the Bible can be used by scientist to further their studies of life and how it came to be here on this planet.

Quantum mechanics is a major accomplishment of science and has led to the development of modern electronics, lasers, and medical technology. Space exploration is another significant accomplishment of science. The Spitzer space telescope has produced photos thousands of light years away with extraordinary displays of awesome scenes that take your breath away. The microscope has shown to us things that at one time were not known and could not be seen.

However, I am amazed at how some scientists have not investigated a method or rather the method for understanding how life got to be here on this planet. My focus is on this particular group because of their influence on humans and their way with words that capture the minds of intelligent, rational individuals.

Individuals who oppose the Bible have not studied it with the desire to understand what the Bible is promoting; and from their concerted effort, either exposing the Bible as unreliable or otherwise informative. More importantly using their investigation to see, if in fact, there is evidence in the Bible, scientific or otherwise, of not only the universe and how it got here, but life as we know it. Can the Bible explain how life came to be on this planet? Can we trust this information?

The following is not geared to promote any particular religion or doctrine, but mainly to prove the authenticity and reliability of the Bible as being a source of instructional material "beneficial for teaching and setting things straight."—2 Timothy 3:16. --NWT. For sure, either there is a Supreme Being or there is not, either the Bible is inspired of God or it is not.

Just to say something exists or is true without weighing the evidence is blind faith, for either evolutionists, creationists, atheists or scientists —facts are essential for establishing the truth.

It is important to understand that people follow a certain course that suits them, their lifestyle or their associations. What appears to be normal could really be an illusion a form of normalcy bias according to psychoanalysis and mental health technicians. Meaning that people tend to refuse to see the reality even though it is presented to them.

Follow with me using the Bible as the source of information that has been gathered to substantiate the truth and that gives insight into the world we live in.

CHAPTER 1

THE SUPREME BEING

"Alas, O Sovereign Lord Jehovah! Here you yourself have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm. The whole matter is not too wonderful for you yourself," ... Jeremiah 32:17

Scientists have tried to find answers relating to the universe; trips to outer space by manned and unmanned spacecraft have consistently caused scientist to revert to the drawing board after more information has been obtained. What are they looking for 'out there’? —Life.

What kind of life? Are we looking for something similar to our own life-support system; elements that can sustain life according to our understanding and estimates of what can support life? Maybe even finding something to indicate that life can survive or has sustained life on what appears to be an uninhabitable planet?

Caltech geologist John Grotzinger states in his report about his exploring Mars with the new vehicle called Curiosity, " its job is to help us figure out where a future mission should look for life."

No longer is there a search for life on Mars, however, this expedition to Mars was to seek and find, from Mars, evidence that could support life. Fundamentally "A habitable environment includes three important ingredients: water, a source of energy, and the chemical building blocks of life such as carbon." States Mr. Grotzinger.

A source from New Scientist, Michael Meyer, NASA, states: "Searching for DNA as we know it means we might miss alternate life-forms."

In either case a definite answer for whether there exist other intelligent life forms in outer space has been elusive if not outright unobtainable.

Is there another dimension besides the physical one? And if there is could we detect it, measure it, identify it?

In the first part of the nineteenth century the atom was unknown to mankind, being so tiny it was obscured from man's vision. Then, in 1897, the atom was discovered, and awesome dynamic powers were exposed.

What has been uncovered in space, so dense and unending that it defies the most imaginative imagination and so limitless that you wonder what, if anything is beyond space? However, to discover the things that fill this 'space' is even more fascinating and exhilarating.

The big bang that scientists refer to is based on evidence they uncovered. Is there evidence of a big bang? Believe it or not there is.

The Bible reveals how it began what energy and wisdom it took to put things in motion and who caused it.

Proverbs 8:26-29: "… when as yet he had not made the earth and the open spaces and the first part of the dust masses of the productive land. When he prepared the heavens I was there; when he decreed a circle upon the face of the water deep, when he made firm the cloud masses above, when he caused the fountains of the watery deep to be strong, when he set for the sea his decree that the waters themselves should not pass beyond his order, when he decreed the foundations of the earth…"

Psalms 95:5: "To whom the sea, which he himself made, belongs and whose own hands formed the dry land itself."

Jeremiah 10:12 reveals the wisdom and understanding necessary to accomplish this task: "He is the maker of the earth by his power, the one firmly establishing the productive land by his wisdom, and the One who by his understanding stretched out the heavens."

Did you notice the word ‘stretched out’ indicating a widening out maybe even as the scientist say, an ‘expansion’? So, although there was a central point from where the ‘big bang’ occurred, there is a continuation of the stretching out of the heavens according to what the scriptures say, and evidence found in the twentieth century from discoveries in the scientific community. The Bible was around before their discoveries.

Revelation 4:11: "You are worthy, Jehovah, even our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because you created all things, and because of your will they existed and were created."

Isaiah 40:26: "Raise your eyes high up and see. Who has created these things? It is the One who is bringing forth the army of them even by number, all of whom he calls even by name. Due to the abundance of dynamic energy, he also being vigorous in power, not one of them is missing."

Did you notice that the stars are numbered and named according to the above scripture? The scientists are correct when they say it was a big bang, yet their description does not give justice to the actual performance leading to this magnificent spectacular series of events that the Bible calls " dynamic energy , or " His might and strength of his power, —Kings James Version; and continuing to say at Isaiah 40:21-22: Do you people not know? Do you not hear? Has it not been told to you from the outset? Have you not applied understanding from the foundations of the earth? "There is One who is dwelling above the circle of the earth the dwellers in which are as grasshoppers, the One who is stretching out the heavens just as a fine gauze, who spreads them out like a tent in which to dwell..."

The description of this spectacle that technology can only capture in comparison to a grain of sand, should make us want to examine the Bible and see what it says about our existence, the universe, and beyond. The information within the Bible shows that this big bang definitely was not an accident but a purposeful, unusual source of energy directed by wisdom.

Moreover, the Bible describes how stars differ one from another, even the sun and the moon differ in their glory.

Where would human beings get this information without a telescope two thousand years ago? The only means of recognition would be their eyes. Even with 20/20 vision the stars all look the same; awesome, beautiful, majestic, yet all looking the same.

1 Corinthians 15:41: "The glory of the sun is one sort, and the glory of the moon is another, and the glory of the stars is another; in fact, star differs from star in glory."

If in fact you recognize that our precise universe, the earth and everything on the earth has a design, a designated purpose and usefulness, then you have to admit these things were created by an entity with reasoning ability—intellect.

Hebrews 3:4: "Of course, every house is constructed by someone, but he that constructed all things is God."

Is it so far above our imagination to contemplate a being so great that he knows not only everything about the universe and its complexities, but also His other creation, the human species? Astonishingly starting at Luke 12:7 "But even the hairs of your heads are all numbered... "

Could that be true?

At Psalms 139:6 states that the more knowledge we take in about the creator the more we recognize how insignificant we truly are: "Such knowledge is too wonderful for me. It is so high up that I cannot attain to it."

James 4:14 confirms this saying: "whereas you do not know what your life will be tomorrow. For you are a mist appearing for a little while and then disappearing."

Psalms 103: 14, 15: "For he himself well knows the formation of us, remembering that we are dust. 15: As for mortal man, his days are like those of green grass; like a blossom of the field is the way he blossoms forth."

What would it take on your part to examine a source that claims to have the answers to life now and future developments that purposes to include your very existence?

Before DNA was known or understood the Bible refers to the process of our development as being written down in a book. DNA is described as transmitting genetic information by coded form, i.e., written down. The book The Cell refers to DNA as a "The basic blueprint of life". If written out, would fill a thousand 600-page books.

Psalms 139:13-17: "For you yourself produced my kidneys; you kept me screened off in the belly of my mother, I shall laud you because in a fear inspiring way I am wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, as my soul is very well aware. My bones were not hidden from you when I was made in secret, when I was woven in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw even the embryo of me, and in your book all its parts were down in writing, as regards the days when they were formed and there was not yet one among them.

This scripture is showing consideration and excessive value for the beginning of the embryo and stating that all the parts were down in writing. The Psalmist recognizes how awesomeness this procedure is saying "in a fear inspiring way I am wonderfully made". This information was revealed long before DNA was ever thought about. An accident? Hardly. Really, then, who are we? We certainly are living organisms. But how? We have been called earthling man, human beings, mankind, the human species, the human machine, etc. Do you just take it for granted because you exist?

At Job 10:9 it reads: "Remember, please, that out of clay you have formed me. And to dust you will make me return.

In the first book of the Bible, Genesis, explains the steps in the beginning of the creative days without getting overly scientific or detailed, yet it is clear that the information agrees with the facts we have available for us today. And specifically, regarding humans the last to be formed out of all the productive work that had been done.

The Bible clearly states that certain kinds were created it does not mention evolving from one species to another. However, since everything on the earth came from the earth certain elements found in human creatures will be commonly isolated in other earthly creations. Nevertheless, today scientific facts, DNA, prove no relation to other species other than other human beings--the humankind. No links have been found that directly progressively connect humans with another animal form, nor will there be.

Genesis 1:21-25: Specifically, 25 says: And God proceeded to make the wild beast of the earth according to its kind and the domestic animal according to its kind and every moving animal of the ground according to its kind. And God got to see that it was good."

Who is this person the Bible refers to as God? It certainly states we were created in his image, rather in "our" image, indicating other associate(s). Suggesting that there are, in fact, other beings superior to ourselves, with abilities beyond our understanding.

There in Genesis 1:26: " And God went on to say: Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness, and let them have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and the domestic animals and all the earth and every moving animal that is moving upon the earth . 27: And God proceeded to create the man in his image, in God's image he created him; male and female
