Meet the Davenports

Yaya and Pops. Parents to Lucy Davenport - the mother of a brood of children. Yaya is not your typical sweet grandmother. She’s rich, but acts like she’s poor and finds creative way to make money. She loves colored wigs, black nail polish and bright red lipstick. She is one of the funnest characters either one of us has ever written.

Chapter One

Daisy/Tommy/Slutty Pepper

IT’S DEVIL’S NIGHT, bring on the mischievous pranks I plan all year! I hunger for the night before Halloween. It’s an evening of payback for Halloween night when all the little shits—kids—are running around dressed up and pretending to be zombies or demons and screwing up my daily routine.

Paybacks are a bitch.

Tommy, catch! Erik tosses me a full roll of plastic wrap he’s dug out of his knapsack. His bag is like a never-ending tunnel of goodies, and I chuckle as we begin wrapping his grandfather’s shiny, expensive black car.

Fucking brilliant, and I wasn’t even the one to think it up. All the credit goes to Erik.

I bet it will be funny to see the old Davenport bastard walk out of the elite gentlemen’s massage parlor and find his car swathed in plastic wrap. Will he get down and dirty and remove the binding himself or will he call one of his employees to do it for him and pop back into the parlor for round two of suck my cock?

Erik ducks under my arms as we run in opposite directions covering every last shiny part with overlapping wrap.

When we finish, our hands slap in the air as we high-five a job well done.

Just a sec, Erik says as I begin to walk away. I turn around as he’s putting his cell phone to his ear. He clears his throat and in a deep tone says, Hello, could I speak to Elizabeth Davenport.

I turn and fold my arms over my chest.

What the hell is he up to?

We’ve recovered your stolen 2018 Mercedes Benz… He has a grin from ear to ear. It’s at six-twenty Orchid Road, and please bring identification with you to claim the car as it is in your name.

Nailed it. That little fucker just set his grandfather up for being busted at the rub and tug by his wife. I knew there was a reason this kid and I click. He’s a younger version of Yaya, and that crazy old bat will do almost anything…let me rephrase that…there’s nothing she won’t do.

What’s next? He stops beside me.

We have to prepare Titty-Kasey’s house for an airborne disease that is turning people into zombies.

Erik stares at me with a blank look. Come again?

I step forward. I wanna fuck big titty Kasey and the way to do that is by convincing her everyone’s a zombie. Did you steal the valerian root from Roxy?

Erik pulls it out of his bag, making a face at the smell.

Perfect. Let’s go get me laid.
