Chapter 1

Journey to the Island

A car stopped in front of a house. A guy with blonde beard came out of it. He just got back from gym. When he entered his home, his mother told him,

I am very happy today.

Why, what happened? he asked.

Today when I checked the post-box I found a post in it. Do you know what it was?

What was it mother?

It was your job offer.

Cox Orion getting job offer was an unheard-of piece of luck. The job offer was from an institution named university of heritage and archaeology. This was the first time when something good happen to him since when his family got to Pasadena, California. He asked his mother,

Mother, tell me should I accept this offer.

Yes, Cox it would be better if you don’t waste your entire life at home. She replied.

Next day he went to his workplace which was the head quarter of university of heritage and archaeology, where he was called for joining. Now he had become an archaeologist by profession. That job seemed monotonous to him, but he was ok with it. Like every other archaeologist, he used to study artefacts of near and distant past to develop a picture of how people lived in earlier culture and societies.

At the first day of his job he got a project on finding clues about extinction of mammoth. He used to spend very little time in field, he liked doing most of the work in lab. After few days of working he had started getting serious interest in archaeology. His curiosity about the past and secrets made him a fascinating one in his department within very few days. But he didn’t liked working under aegis of some institution.

When he got back from office at fourth day of his job, he took his only mother to nearby park for spending some time together. There he asked her,

‘’Don’t you feel lonely during my working hours’’.

‘’its ok cox, don’t think much about it’’. She replied. 

When they went back to home they played backgammon. After few hours he said mother you should sleep now. At that night while sleeping, he got a message. The message was ❽♦♒♓• •□❒●♎ ♓• ●♏♋♎♓■♑ ♦□ ■♏• ♓■■□❖♋♦♓□■• •●♏♋•♏ ♐♓■♎ ♓♦" but it was untraceable. It means this world is leading to new innovation, please find it. He felt little uneasy, and he started searching the location but didn’t find anything. He couldn’t sleep that night, thinking about that location. He contacted his childhood friend
