The door of the small apartment burst open with force bordering on emergency. Sky stepped through the portal into the cozy living room that also doubled as the apartment’s dining space. At just over six feet tall, he easily qualified for the tall, dark, and handsome type but downplayed it with his just out of bed hairdo, local college t-shirt, cargo pants, and flip flops.

The apartment was littered with cheap second hand furniture that was common for most of the dorms.

I'm here, what do you want? Sky called out into the seemingly empty space, Dan?

Over here! A muffled voice cried out.

Sky turned toward the sound of Dan's voice to see two legs kicking wildly from the little window next to the kitchen nook.

Holy crap! Sky said rushing to the aid of his oldest friend. What the heck are you doing hanging out the window?
