Getting Started
Beside my bed there is a beautiful stack of books. Each one holds questions I want answered, laughs I want to experience, and knowledge I want to implement in my daily life. The problem is, as the mother of two toddlers, I have only a few minutes every day that I could read these books, and therefore, they go unread. Maybe when my girls are teenagers I will be able to read more!
Great news for busy parents: you do not have to read this entire book before teaching your child to pray! There are few caregivers of toddlers who have the time to read a book cover to cover and implement it in a reasonable amount of time. Everyone who picks up this book can spend just a few moments reading and immediately put each section into practice, so that by the time you finish reading the book, your little one is a praying baby. I have made every attempt to keep this book simple and clear, easy to read and put into practice. It is very important to realize that there is no timetable or deadlines. This book will walk you through three phases. For very young or nonverbal children, you may stay in the first phase for months, while other children may be able to move through the entire book in a few weeks. Children will learn and grow at different speeds so let your expectations fly out the window, and enjoy the process!

My heart smiles at the complexity of the feeling… the airy happiness that comes with the joy of watching her discover life every day, mixed with the weight of the great responsibility I have for teaching this precious treasure everything she needs to know. Since I
