      When I got home from school, I threw myself onto the sofa and relished the feeling of freedom. I was in 11 th grade and was wondering what I would do during the two weeks I had off for spring break.

      Then I heard a quick knock at the door. I slowly got up to open the door, not wanting to leave my relaxation and then-

      Teal! I exclaimed. What are you doing here? He was dressed in a silver outfit and had a bright star-shaped badge.

      I came to visit, he replied. It’s been a long time since we last saw each other.

      He was right. Over a year had passed since we’d last met. It made sense, though, since he was from another planet.

      He stepped towards me and I drew him into a hug. A moment later we split apart.

      Come on in! I told him. I want to hear all about your adventures! I grabbed his hand and pulled him into the living room.
