    Prologue: O Canada

O Canada! Welcome to our lovely, butter-tart-sweet, native land! A man in the street began singing as I walked closer to Montreal Olympic Stadium.

O Canada, as a true patriot, we command. O Canada! Try the Figgy Duff, it’s grand! sang another.

Oooh... Have you hugged your chocolate moose todayyy? yet another busted out a note like Pavarotti. Just kidding, he’s a yak. A yyyaaaaaaakkk!!! The man mounted the strange, horned beast and galloped off.

O Canada... More people began marching out of the shops and singing as one. O Canada... We stand guard for thee, so thee can pee!

Fine, I’ll turn myself in. Just stop singing! I hurried over to a gentleman seated at a table near the stadium entrance.

O Canada... True, strong, free northern trooooops... They continued singing behind me. Ooo Canadaaa... There’s no telling what they’ll put in your yellow pea soup...

Isn’t that lovely? The man at the table sang
