I wrote this book purposely to show that life could/can be enjoyed without such strong early relationships with others. This book will walk you through what young girls think about throughout their journey of life with the hope of fulfilling their purpose on earth. This book will make you laugh and probably cry which is not a bad thing seeing that life is full of surprises.

A Summer to Remember

I looked at Lela with a sigh. I don’t feel like playing today, Lela. It’s too hot. Plus, it’s so boring. Maybe tomorrow we can go swimming in the lake.

Lela and I lived in the deep south of Alabama and couldn’t wait for the state fair to come into town the following week.

"Do you know, Priscilla, we will be fifteen this year on our birthdays, and we haven’t made plans for our party?
