Aromatherapy within Yoga
If you only look to the world for your reason of being, your mind will be full of confusion and doubt. For the world can not answer by itself. But if you look within yourself and feel your own knowing, even if you don’t understand, but just feel it, and then look to the world from this point within yourself, the world becomes your teacher, and true knowledge will start to unfold within you

Yoga is an inward path that will lead us, (sooner or later) to self-realization, which is God-realization. To the Divinity within us and the Oneness of God in all of creation. Yoga is a way of life, with an inner-journey that gently guides us back to the truth of our being. If you liken yoga to the teacher, then aromatherapy can be likened to the gentle support of a mother, as she helps her child to take its first wobbly steps on the inner-journey of life. For the inner-journey can be tough, as we struggle to move inwards and let go. Even with that knowing that comes from deep within that we are (at last) on the homeward path. The path that has been taught and shown by all Avatars and God-realized souls. We have just never been still enough, to feel that silent gentle voice of our inner-teacher saying This is the Truth
.
Aromatherapy is a gift from Mother Earth. For every drop of essential oil holds within it, her stillness and her healing, that helps soften and lighten the inner-path.

What is Aromatherapy?
Aromatherapy is an ancient healing art that uses the essences from medicinal aromatic plants, with massage. It is one of the many holistic treatments that take into account, the whole of the person, not just the disorder. Aromatherapy can help us to find inner stillness, a space to reflect, by gentle slowing down the mind and softening the nervous system.
When the essence has been extracted from the plants, they are called essential oils. The essence while within the plant contains all that the plant needs for its growth and reproduction. As the plant’s needs change, the chemical compounds change with that need. Within this cyclic of change is a pattern, and at one point within the pattern, the chemical compounds of the essence have a very therapeutic effect on the human body. The essence is also full of pranic energy, the life-force of the plant (the life-force that flows through all of creation), and it’s fragrance.
