Unforgotten pains thoughts from yesteryear a love grimace backwards, ascend an emotional mountain as cynical as the lowest valley

Rarely pure is our weakness. Often we are sullied and so full of guilt, blemishes fall from our affected heart.

Mario Alonzo Charity Sr. was born in Richmond, Virginia. He currently resides in Dallas, Texas which was a long time coming. Mario was first introduced to poetry in high school when it was realized that this was a gift from God. He has been writing ever since. Mario has travelled to many parts of the country, inspiring many poems. Others were inspired by the ups and downs, the highs and lows experienced in his life both on a personal level as well as experiences of those close to him.
