Wait!...Change Is Coming
By Ella Oyortey

About this ebook
Throughout the Bible, we are told about how some people who were close to God suffered long periods of waiting. They never shifted their focus from the promises that God had made to them. As a matter of fact, they rather exhibited and maintained a positive attitude of hope, joy, and thanksgiving to God, fully persuaded that God was able and faithful to fulfill His promises. And He did!
Ella Oyortey encourages readers by expertly covering areas including the following:
Personalities in the Bible who had to wait
Tests you may suffer whilst waiting
Attitude to maintain whilst waiting
What to do whilst waiting
As long as your expectations are in line with the will of God, then determine to stay on the road of promise and wait on God. Say to yourself often and believe it when you say, I will wait and hope till my change comes.

Foreword
The doctor smiled at the heavily pregnant lady and said ‘everything looks alright, Anna, we only have to wait for a couple more months’.
Anna sighed, she tried to smile back at the doctor but rather snapped ‘But I am extremely tired and my back hurts terribly, I can’t have my full sleep anymore and I am quite fed up with the constant trips to the toilet! Please can’t you help bring this baby out before the due date?’
‘You really do not want that to happen my dear, and I tell you the truth all that you are going through right now will be really worth it’. The kind doctor replied.
I want you to have this illustration in mind and carry it with you as you read this book. Because every person and I mean everyone goes through a period of waiting. No one is exempted.
Waiting is a fact of life. It is like a pregnant woman; her waiting period begins from the moment she conceives till she delivers her baby.
I am yet to find someone who conceives today and has a full matured baby the next day or even next month!
Our waiting period is like pregnancy: it is full of stages. The first stage is when a woman realises that she is going to have a baby – oh what joy!
Then the second or middle stage where she feels the baby is gradually forming and growing inside her. Everything seems fine and she is getting along well.
Now the irritating third stage comes, she is now getting fed up with the whole thing, her back hurts, her legs swollen, she is tired and she cannot wait any longer to deliver her baby.
Finally, the stage when she has to push the baby out – the hardest of all the stages. It is at this stage when she thinks: Surely I do not have the strength anymore to continue. Dear me! This excruciating pain will definitely knock me out! And yet as she continues to push, persisting and persevering she brings forth something so wonderful. A baby so beautiful that is worth the pain.
It is just like a person that goes through life waiting for his/her dream to be fulfilled. It might be a prophecy or promise from God, a dream or a vision for the future, a business idea or it could just be waiting for a prayer request to be answered by God.
You may also be waiting for a job, a financial breakthrough, a life partner, a child, healing in your body or for your ministry to take off, someone to get saved or a supernatural breakthrough in your circumstances.
Like pregnancy you may go through different stages before you receive that fulfilment or expectation.
The right attitude to possess whilst
