About this ebook
The Two-Minute Warning is a novel that takes a journey with John Starr, who is an evangelist and watchman in the end times, in his travels sounding the alarm of warning that God has appointed him to sound. It is a story of revival and of the end-time harvest.
This is a must-read for anyone who wants to expand their understanding of spiritual warfare and catch the enthusiasm of the author in taking up their cross to follow Jesus. Great story!
I loved it!

I find Bob Ross Thomas’ book Two Minute Warning
a timely warning to the Church in America to truly walk in repentance and humility. From his evangelistic travels to the prophetic dreams given to him by God I truly believe he is a watchmen and must blow the trumpet of warning. Many Christians fail to understand that judgment begins in the house of God and before God judges a nation, His people, and those indifferent to His word he alerts the watchmen to warn. God wants to spare His people but many of the Children of God have embraced sin and compromise and therefore we must encourage the watchmen to stay faithful and try to pull some out of the fire as God leads and speak the truth in the hope that people will repent and be transformed!

Preface
It was Monday April 25 th , 2011, two days before David Wilkerson was killed in a car accident. I had come home from work tired and went upstairs to lay down for a nap. I fell asleep. Then sometime after I don’t know how long I was abruptly awakened by the Lord screaming into my ears in my sleep these words: WARN THEM! WARN THEM! BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE! When I woke up I already had tears coming down my face. I felt an incredible urgency in the Spirit. I felt the presence of God in the room. I sensed the broken heart of God. I knew it was not my own tears for I was crying before I had had time to think on or decipher what had just happened. I thought for a moment it was a dream but realized it was not because there was no visual only audio. God had screamed into my ears so to speak while I slept and awoke me. Whether with audible voice or not I do not know. Either way if it was only in the Spirit it was still very loud. After a few minutes of Lying there I asked the Lord: Who do I warn, the body or the lost? And immediately knew the answer was both. I preached it the following Sunday at the church where I was co-pastoring. I shared the experience with many friends and pastors. As the time was going by I was still very bugged by this. I was not doing enough. I knew I had a mandate from the Lord to warn them! In April 2013 while waiting on the cover of my book The Broken Heart of God
to be finished and the book to be released I was thinking on this Word again and praying over it along with another vision the Lord had given me about going to Florida. I was asking: How do I do this? I then received a word and a vision. We are at the two minute warning and we are losing the game. It’s 11:58 pm. It’s almost midnight! Time is running out. Write the novel. And I got the vision for this novel and began to write.
Introduction
The Two Minute Warning is a novel about the last days end time harvest and revival right before the return of the Lord through the eyes of one man named John Starr who is sent out as a watchman from the Lord to warn the church and the lost. Everywhere he goes and shares his end time warning message the Spirit of God moves in power and revival comes! The last great end times harvest is reaped and the end is near!
My Journal
Today, I John Starr, am beginning to write in my journal as I prepare for the trip that I feel God is sending me on. No, it’s more than a feeling. I know I have heard from God on this and it’s not just crazy presumption. God has put it in my heart to go out on the road traveling sharing with people in churches and in the streets and warning them that we are at the time of the end and it is two minutes til midnight. I am to warn people that the day of the Lord is at hand and they must repent and turn to God before it’s too late. It all started a couple of years ago when I had come home from work and went upstairs to take a nap. After falling asleep I was awakened by the Lord. I do not know how long exactly I slept. Only that I was abruptly awakened by the Spirit of the Lord screaming into my ears as I slept: WARN THEM! WARN THEM! BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE. It was after that that I began to seek God on what it was He was saying, and to whom, and how I was to go about warning them. Well I got the answer! It was a warning to both the world and the sleeping body of Christ. And how I was to warn them? I was to go by faith out on the road, traveling sharing in churches and in the streets with people as God gave me divine appointments. This journey would begin by starting in the state of Florida as God had recently showed me in a dream that I was being sent to Florida but at the time I did not understand it.
I can remember when I first got saved when I was 18years old, or when I returned to the Lord should I say. I first got saved when I was about 7 and we attended a Baptist church and our pastor was preaching that Jesus was going to return in the 70’s. Then my parents divorced and we left the church. When I came to know the Lord in a real way at age 18 my dad was always talking about the end times and eschatology, and how the Lord was going to return at anytime. So when I was out at mission school when I was 19 and still a babe in Christ I was always talking about end times prophecy. One day the Holy Spirit reproved me and told me to forget about that stuff and focus on getting to know Jesus. Now here years later we really are on the brink of the Lord’s return and God has been speaking to me for years about it. When He told me to drop all that stuff I did. But years later He began to reveal end times prophetic stuff to me. But when it really got big was the morning of 9/11. I had gotten home late from a trip to Georgia and called my boss to tell her I would be late for work. She told me not to bother coming in but to turn on my TV; that the towers in New York had been hit. After I did turn on the TV the Holy Spirit spoke to me to go upstairs and get my Bible. I did and came back down with it. He then told me to turn to Revelation 18 and I read about modern day Babylon falling and the smoke of her burning. He then revealed to me that this was a precursor and the beginning of sorrows. Later I heard on a TV documentary about the Bible Code that for that year, that Jewish year that begins in the fall it had revealed the 9/11 attack, that New York and America was the New Babylon, and that the Beginning of Sorrows began that year. Later in June of 2005 God gave me a dream about the end and coming of the Lord. In the midst of war and chaos and tribulation Jesus’ bride was getting ready for the marriage supper. I woke up and it was 3 am and the voice of the Lord spoke powerfully saying: I am coming back soon. Those who know Me and are connected to Me will know and be ready! Since that day I have had many prophetic dreams and insights about the soon coming of the Lord and end of the age but nothing has shaken me as that one day did when I was taking a nap and the Lord woke me up screaming in my ears: WARN THEM! WARN THEM! BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE! I will never forget that day. And everything I am preparing to do now flows out of that calling from the Lord to warn His body and warn the lost. It was obvious I had been called to be a watchman on the wall according to Ezekiel 33:7-9 and I had to take that seriously and understand all that it meant because I was now accountable as the Lord had told me to warn them.
Now everywhere all around us end times prophetic events are being fulfilled. I don’t just listen to what God speaks to me but to what His prophets are saying and what current events are on the news. It is amazing what is happening around us and yet so few are aware of the truth of it. More preachers than I have ever seen before are preaching that we are right at the edge of the end of the age before Jesus returns and that we could be launched into the tribulation at anytime. Even many TV preachers who use to always be saying this is the year of breakthrough or prosperity are now preaching Jesus’ soon return and the tribulation and soon coming antichrist. While some preachers still stay blind and preach a feel good gospel more than ever before I have heard the alarms going off through the prophets and evangelists.
My Journal Part 2
The year is now 2013 and we have according to the prophecy of St. Malachy the last pope in the Vatican and he is either the antichrist or the false prophet according to the beliefs of many. I first had my experience from the Lord of Him awakening me from sleep saying to warn them, warn them in 2011. Also I had had my dream that year about going to Florida. Then in 2012 when everyone thought it was all going to hit the fan it didn’t but I had many loved ones in my family pass away including my mom. My dad had already passed in 2002 and my sister in 2006. Now it’s 2013 and I am getting ready to take my road trip. Having a wife and two kids make it had to go on the road. I have saved some money and have some inheritance money by which I can use to take care of my family and myself while I make my journey around the country. I will break it up into several road trips so I can get home to visit the family as much as possible, hoping each time to return and that there is something to return to. I wanted to just get out of the country and flee to another knowing the things that are coming on this nation but I have a mandate from the Lord to stay.
So now that it is 2013 and the world did not end in 2012 we have even less believers in what is coming. The word of the apostle Peter is coming true from 2 Peter 3:4 saying: Where is the promise of His coming? The people were ignorant and they just listened to whatever they were told. The Mayan calendar nor any other said that the world would end in 2012 but rather many cultures had similar prophecies saying: 2012 would mark the end of an age or era and a new age would begin where a new messiah or world leader would step in on the scene. For the Mayans, their dragon God was returning as was for the Aztecs. For the Cherokee, it was their rattlesnake god who would return in 2012, and so on and so on. And with all the demonic prophecies coming forth from the false gods, it shows one thing to be true. The demons or fallen angels do have some idea of when God is getting ready to close this thing up. But some of them may even be stupid or ignorant enough to believe or convince themselves that they will somehow when this great battle. Satan just probably doesn’t want to think on his end too much but rather just try to take as many with him as he can to hurt God as much as he can. And that has happened. God is hurt. God’s heart has been broken over the state of mankind for a long time. Genesis 6:5,6 tell us this when it says God’s heart was so grieved over mankind He repented that He had even made man on the earth.
Now the sad thing is, is that it’s about to all end and nobody seems to realize the ramifications of all of it. Some Christians are getting ready for a pre-trib rapture they think is going to happen while others just aren’t concerned at all. They say it will happen when it happens. After all they say; no one knows the day or the hour. The others love God and are looking forward to seeing Jesus’ face and are willing to suffer for His sake and go through the fire if need be or be martyrs. But where are all the people who want to minister to the heart of God and snatch as many out of the fire as they can before this thing ends? After all, they are all created in His image and He loves them and is broken hearted over them. Where are the prayer warriors crying out for revival and mercy? There are some but they make up such a small minority of the church. There are so few that care. They’ve all been taught that God is going to do what He is going to do anyway and they can’t change it so why try. They don’t understand that prayer changes things because they’ve been taught that it doesn’t while others are just too lazy to pray which we all can fall into sometimes. But so few seem to be concerned with reaching the lost, for the glory of God. Don’t they realize that we are two strokes from midnight and once it’s midnight there’s no more chances. These people will be in hell for eternity after that and nobody will be able to do anything. Yes, our tears will be wiped away, but the tears of the Lamb will never be wiped away, because His unconditional love can do nothing less than keep on loving.
Soon World War 3 will start. Major war will be in the Middle East. Famine will begin here at home. Terrorism, earthquakes, tsunamis and everything else imaginable is going to hit but they just don’t realize how real it is. They’ve heard it just like me. But yet they haven’t. Having ears, yet they hear not. Having eyes, yet they see not. So very few seem to realize just what is over the horizon, how close it is and how horrific it is.
Well, I guess it’s time to start my journey.
Preparation for the Trip
So I began to prepare for my trip. I had saved some money, plus I had some inheritance money. But I would still need to receive some offerings here and there in churches to help as I had a wife and two children back home to take care of besides the costs of the journey. The journey would be comprised of many trips as I couldn’t just stay out on the road when I have a family back home I need to spend time with. So I would need to come home every couple weeks and stay a few days with my family. This would make things even more expensive. I was just going to have to trust God. It was His call so He will provide all my needs according to His riches in glory.
I tried to get everything wrapped up I needed to at home. I appointed friends to stop by, keep in touch, and look out for my family. I just had to trust God that in these days, nothing would happen while I was away that would bring them into harm or keep me away from them.
In the old days evangelists did this kind of thing but traveled with their family. In these modern days no family is willing to live out on the road by faith with a traveling evangelistic ministry. In these days people have their connections ahead of time and take individual trips rather than traveling on the road, knocking on church doors to find a preaching gig. Not that I was planning on doing it that was either. Actually I wasn’t quite sure how it would go. I knew I was to share in the streets and in churches. I already had a couple places lined up and would have to trust God for more opportunities. I wasn’t planning on walking streets with a billboard either. I did not know either how that would go. I know in the old days we use to go out in groups of two and just interrupt people on the street and preach to them. That was never my style. I did it the Jesus style, talking to people standing idle in the marketplace. I would speak to people who were just sitting around not busy, just hanging out, rather than interrupting someone walking that had an agenda. I would just try to start an easy conversation with them and let them ask questions to bring it along to the gospel subject. This time though I was believing more for divine appointments as I felt that’s what I was going to be receiving. I knew though I would still have to step out in faith. I have only been use to witnessing on the job or in places where God would open the door or at a park type outreach. It had been a while since I had been out street witnessing so to speak. I would have to just wait and see what God would do.
Off To Florida
Ok, I’m all packed up now. You kids come give me kisses and hugs! Mmmm! Boy what a hug! I love you sweety! I’ll see you soon. Come here Caleb, you give Daddy a hug too. Mmmmmm, let me sqeeze you real tight. I love you.
Daddy, when are you coming home?
I’ll be back in a couple weeks or so Lizzy. Bye Claire. I love you!
Bye! Give me a big tight hug too.
Of course, and kisses too! I’ll call you soon. Bye! Bye kids, Daddy loves you lots!
Bye Daddy! Bye Bye!!!!!
It was so hard to say goodbye to my family but now I was off headed towards Florida via Georgia, stop and visit a friend in Georgia as well as see my stepmom and make sure she is ok. So I put in some worship music and just started praising and worshiping and magnifying God along the way!
Wow the Holy Spirit is coming down so powerfully! Thank you Jesus for your presence! I love you Lord! I worship You and praise Your holy name! For You are worthy to receive all of the glory and all of the honor and praise forevermore! Thank you Jesus for this visitation. You’re just confirming to me all the more that I am stepping out in your will.
Tears began to pour down my face as I felt the power and presence of the Lord just rolling over me like waves of glory! His grace is so wonderful and in His presence there is fullness of joy! When I have these kind of experiences it makes me feel sorry for so many Christians who are blind to Who all God wants to be to them. How He wants to commune with them and be there all in all. Every since I heard the pastor share that time that one third of all devoted regular church going Christians have never felt the presence of God or have had a said encounter with God. And then He said another third have only encountered Him or felt His presence once! Every since I heard that message it makes me sad for them every time I have an experience like this. I know I am by no means worthy of Him revealing Himself to me the way He does or Him pouring out His grace and presence over me the way He does. I just believe Him and thirst for more of Him and seek after Him. It’s like they say; once you’ve been filled and baptized with His glorious Holy Spirit then nothing else can satisfy.
So I finally came out of my awesome communion with the Lord as I got into Georgia close to Atlanta where I was going to make a stop to see a friend here. I had stopped north of Atlanta for gas and then got back on the road putting the worship cd back in but yet felt such an oppression as I drew close to Atlanta. It was like there was a big black cloud over the city. I had to drive to the other side via 285 to meet my friend at the Denny’s just off I-85 on Jimmy Carter Blvd. I got to Denny’s and still felt the oppression. I knew that God was moving in places in this city but this heaviness was something else.
Hey, There’s George over there! How
