About this ebook

Wake Up, Nations is an extraordinary book of a call to righteousness, waking up to God's truth and holiness. A true story of the warmth of God's embrace is revealed to the world by the Author. Wake Up, Nations engages you while it talks about the author's childhood memoir, which helps bring out a different background of parenting a child, nurturing her into the fear of the Lord. Wake Up, Nations has an in-depth description of God as never been revealed to man. This best-seller proves the existence of the true living God, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. It helps us to see the lowliness and meekness of the Lord as well as his Supremacy over his creation. "We do not wrestle against flesh and blood. To this end am I called and to this end will I be." -Jerusha Bello-Osagie

    Preface

Praise be to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord God Almighty, to whom be the glory, honor, and adoration. I thank my Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world, who is rich in tender mercies and loving-kindness to all those who call upon him, in truth. Amen.

My name is Ramotu Bello-Osagie. I was born in Benin-City, Nigeria. I currently reside in Chicago, Illinois.

When I was a child, the Lord gave me the gift of dreams; I knew nothing about dreams even as a young girl. I was a happy child, surrounded with so much love, peace, harmony and understanding from my parents Dr. Nafiu, the Justice of Peace (JP) and Mrs. Muni Bello-Osagie, who passed away on March 20th, 2013.

One thing was certain: I knew nothing about dreams. However, as a child, I am not sure of my exact age, but I was still in elementary school when I began noticing that events were unfolding in duplicate forms in my life. This became so strange to me; I could not place a finger on where I had seen those events before, but they would play out again the same way I had seen them, either in my or someone else’s life; This was troubling and more confusing in so many ways to me. One day, I carelessly mentioned these strange occurrences to some of my siblings on the playground behind my father’s house.

My father’s compound is composed of three big buildings with various apartments where my father and three of his wives lived. Furthermore, my grandmother and my siblings, as well as some distant relatives with some of my aunties, lived together with my family. It was therefore not surprising to find some of my siblings and cousins of the same age group playing together in the yard. Shortly after I told them what was happening to me, my grandmother, Mrs. Salamotu Bello-Osagie, sent for me immediately. Unknown to me, however, my siblings had told her what they heard me say to them on the playground. When I got to her, she immediately narrated to me the same story I had told my family. She said, I heard you see things sometimes and begin to see those things happening again. At this time, we were surrounded by all the children playing in the yard with inquisitive and questioning eyes, curiously waiting and wanting to know if they could help me out of this situation. Admittedly, it was pointless to ask my grandmother how she got wind of my plight.

After careful interrogations, she concluded that those occurrences happened in my sleep and those, she said, are called dreams. She also said that’s the reason why I began seeing those events happen again in real life situations.

For the first time, I understood what it means to dream when you fall asleep. The Bible says,

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: (Joel 2:28).

    Introduction

The Lord told me to write this book in 2007; he continued to encourage me as I wrote. Initially, I wasn’t sure what he wanted me to write about. Nevertheless, the answer finally dawned on me on April 7, 2017, while I was reading the Gospel of Matthew one early Friday evening at home. I thought that some of the reasons the Lord called his disciples apart from expounding the Gospel, were for them to give accurate accounts of some of their experiences and encounters that they would have with him as well as what they would see him do, such as various interactions, including different episodes of miracles, persecutions and so on. For these reasons, there is a likelihood the Lord is calling me to do the same, to share my experiences as well as various encounters and interactions I have had with him over the years. As a result, he wants the world to believe that he is alive and doing great things on earth just as he did in his Word,
