Preface
My earthly mother is Evangelist Agnes Fitzgerald-Hopkins, My earthly father is Rev. George A. Hopkins. I was born July 2, 1969 in Cleveland, Ohio. We moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana when I was a little girl.
We got up every Sunday morning and went to church. My dad was the Pastor. We had bible study every day around the table. My dad was also a musician, so we sang as he played the piano… He was a humble man, very quiet… . My mom was a strong willed lady, very out spoken and feared nothing, she sang just as powerful as she spoke. She would go and snatch prostitutes from the streets and challenge their pimps. Gang members knew her as Momma and would meet up and eat with her in the same place at the same time… . I watched my momma closely and was totally amazed at her strength. My mom and dad divorced at a young stage in my life, and things changed for us.
All my life I have known God and loved Him, I have always talked to Him and listened to His guidance as a little girl
. . . . One day while playing, I heard a voice that told me to run home and tell my mom we had to escape, I ran straight home, told my mom, we left out the back door and the cops bust through the front… . See my mom stayed fighting the cops, so they was always after her, threatening to take us for any given reason… . Didn’t stop her for talking and speaking and fighting in the community… .
Now while always told that I was beautiful, had a heart shaped face and a beautiful smile… . I was the baby At the time
(Why am I telling this? I don’t know… Only God knows). Dad was gone and mom was fighting to save the community. And I was being molested… . Now much of it I had blocked out, but smells, like the smell of Vaseline or the smell of an attic bring back memories. Small closed up spaces bring me to a state of anxiety… . I remember one day watching my brother and sister play outside from the attic window, because I was on punishment for whatever reason, and then pulled from the window to be molested while I listened to my siblings laughing and playing… . I hated the smell of attics for a long time. Didn’t tell my mom about it for a long time, I was scared to death of this person, and I could not tell you today who it was and what he looked like, it is blocked from my mind, but I can tell and remember the whole thing… I only started talking about these things a few years ago, and releasing myself… . When you go through things like that, it can affect you in different ways, you can become hateful, gay, angry, a molester, have relationship problems or have mental problems… . and sometimes God
