About this ebook
Doretha J. Jones
When she writes, so much of herself is put into it. Much of what is written is based on her experiences. The challenges she had faced in life and the obstacles that were overcome. No matter what she did or how, it’s a story that must be heard, and upon reading it, you’ll feel you can relate in some way.

Letter From The Author
41522.pngAs a young girl I loved to write poetry, just never put it on paper as much as I should have. My family is composed of very strong women and together we are powerful on and off paper. Needless to say that expressing myself in a poem is the only constructive way I can let the world outside of me know exactly how I was feeling inside. As a Soldier there was not much I could say without being concerned about the reprocussions that came behind it.
As a mother I had to be careful of my actions around my children for as they see their mother, is how they would view women through life. As a wife again I had to be strong and continue to hold the family together. However as a person in general I have been constantly misunderstood, misplaces, mistreated and misloved if that makes any sence. In turn writing my inner thoughts has helped me to overcome my inner pain without expressing it physically or in a negative aspect. I hope my book help you learn and know how to express your inner thoughts by putting it on paper. Make it work for you and share it with others as I did with you. In short I think its safe to say that positive expression is the best form of expression. Why not write it down
