Pierre de la Pierraz was born in Switzerland. All of his life, he was attracted to the metaphysical; for more than forty years he has collected books and materials on the subject. Pierre taught yoga for more than twenty years. He currently lives in Maryland.

No greater challenge or duty of a more profound impact confronts us than the possible awareness and realization of our own higher consciousness, the place we occupy in the world, and our higher purpose, which we need to discover and pursue.

Whatever path we choose or effort it takes, this inner journey is necessary for us to become–in thoughts, words, and actions–all we were meant to be. It is the way to be our ideally balanced, wholesome, generous, and joyous self: our true, authentic self.

Preface

This book is written for people who would like to contribute to a more peaceful and harmonious world and for the millions who have become disinterested in their original belief system and organized tradition. These people believe in something, are unable to express clearly what they believe, and have often come to the conclusion that it is not given to us to know more.

Yes, it is possible to know. Actually, it is the purpose of our lives to know, to discover who we are and what our lives are really about. We already have within ourselves the answers to what we are looking for, and it is available to all sincere seekers. Our goal is to help these people rediscover what they have never lost, to reconnect to that inner wisdom, and to have a profound relationship with it.

He was not always as attentive as he would have liked to be; often even the most profound messages were lost soon after they were received. He hopes that they will be revealed again sometime in the future. Without the messages from the trolls, this book could never have been written.
