    Introduction

There are so many diverse happenings in the lives of people everywhere that create the perfect opportunity for them to come to know God and read and learn about his ways and promises to those who diligently seek him. My personal belief is that God wants to know us personally and that we must communicate with Him through prayer to establish and nourish this relationship. Furthermore, I believe He answers prayer, although it may not be the answers we are seeking at the time. When we are receptive He sends the Holy Spirit to comfort us during sad times and at our lowest points. Many times He sends others, who seem to us as angels, to help us through difficult times. My fervent prayer is that any family members and friends, who have not yet established a relationship with Jesus, do so, as they continue to worship, praise, and serve our heavenly father and fellowship with others.

This book, entitled Altogether Now, is an anthology of prose and poems. Many of them comprise stories that echo real life situations. It captures thoughts, experiences, and imaginations of the author (myself) as I attempt creative expression of my own inner voice to share with readers. This book contains prose and poetry from three earlier published books and an additional 34 new poems. The bible verses were taken from the Parallel Bible (New International Version). I hope you enjoy reading the poems
