Rick Fleury has been surfing for over forty years. He now lives on the beach at Oceanside, California. His current ministry is with the marines at Camp Pendleton. Linda Staehr adapted Rick’s story for this book. She has been a technical writer and a systems analyst. Linda now enjoys volunteer work with a number of Christian charities. She now resides in Vista, California. Trevor Presley the illustrator, lives with his wife and children in Escondido, California.
