D.J.Nelson is a former soldier serving thirteen years with the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers. He has actively served in Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Kosovo and the Falkland Isles. He has toured Germany, Poland, Kenya, Belize and Canada. Upon leaving the Army he became a Close Protection Operative, a Door Supervisor and a Bailiff. His hard work, dedication and perseverance has seen him progress to a senior management position within a national retail company. He is happily married to his beautiful wife and has two wonderful children. The love of his family is his inspiration and has encouraged him to fulfill a lifelong ambition of writing and illustrating his own book.
