Frans Vermaak is currently fulfilling a leadership role in the church he serves in Phalaborwa South Africa, and he passionately desires to see a revival culture established in the church so that people can experience the realness of God. What a privilege to write an endorsement for my brother, Frans Vermaak. The reality and personal revelation of who Father is in Frans’ life, can be felt and experienced through reading the manuscript of this book. The revelation of how the Father in heaven feels and sees us as His children, is very refreshing and will speak to this generation in a unique way.

Every generation has the chance to hear a voice and follow leaders who can communicate the heart of the God in a way that impacts is fullness of truth and relevance. I believe Frans is a voice for his generation. Taking up the challenge to write and produce revelation to influence society is a powerful calling and I know this book will inspire many. Having a personal relationship with the Father is the most important aspect of the Christian life. The Artist And Me, is a story about a boy, Zack, who grows up in a normal household where God is not important, and going to church is just something that is done on Sundays. The book tells the story of his spiritual journey and his struggle to connect to God, as a result of lies he believed about God and himself. God uses those around him, as well as supernatural experiences, to win his heart.

I met the author two years ago, while doing a Skype Sozo session with him.

During the session, I witnessed how God gently encountered him, exposed lies that he had believed about Him, as well as his own identity, and replaced them with truths that touched him deeply. Those truths changed his heart and destiny. He encountered God’s Love for him.

After this experience, Franz became passionate about seeing other people connect to God’s Heart and discover His Love, their value and their destiny. He wants people to know that it is natural to hear God’s Voice and experience intimacy with Him.

With this book, Franz attempts to illustrate how lies can cause disconnection, mistrust and rejection and how God reaches out to encounter people.

When I was 20 years old, I found myself in a chapel in Downtown Fort Worth, Texas, where a stuttering preacher was simply talking about the love story of God - The Gospel.
