About this ebook

James Maloneys start in life was rooted in abuse, rejection, and fear. As a teenager, facing thoughts of suicide, he cried out to God, If Youre real, You're going to have to reveal Yourself to me.

Jesus Christ appeared to James in a cloud of glory and told him, I have heard your cry for acceptance. I have heard your cry for reality, and I love you just the way you are.

Like many others in this world, James suffered under severe wounds of rejection stemming from physical and emotional abuse as a child. He labored under fear and isolation. Even so, his moving testimony shows Jesus as the Great Physicianone who can uproot any issue and touch any person and make them whole, no matter how wounded they may be.

The Wounded Cry is a dynamic, true story of one young mans search for acceptance and love, and how a touch from God can turn any horrible situation into a praise report of His glory.

    About The Author

    To my daughter, Alisa, a little beauty that I held in the palm of my right hand, who is now a mother of her own little beauties.

    To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion,

    To give unto them beauty for ashes,

    The oil of joy for mourning,

    The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;

    That they might be called

    Trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord,

    That he might be glorified.

    THE WOUNDED CRY

    The subject of the following material has thankfully gained rapid attention in the last few years. An increased awareness of child abuse in the United States has sparked a wildfire among writers who have produced numerous books on this terrible contagion sadly spreading as quickly as the books are written. These authors attempt to explain why abuse is so rampant, and to offer means for the victims to overcome the mental and emotional scarring of a life started in mistreatment. The views are widespread that deal with the healing of the mind and emotions.

    More often, these books on today’s market are lengthy discourses with detailed presentations on how to take back your life. And while it is with noble purpose the authors have undertaken to provide copious amounts of suggestions for recovery, ultimately many lack the key Ingredient in the recipe of self-mending.

    This is not one of those books.

    The Wounded Cry is my testimony, and it is one hundred percent factual truth. I wrote this booklet as an introduction to healing for the inward man.
