Song of the Sea - CAPTAIN BILL SCHEFFEY

    THE SEA

    1

The sea is nature’s gift to us

    A wondrous place to be

It can be a friendly place

    So many things to see

    2

A beautiful world not like ours

    Lies quietly under the waves

A place to spend many happy hours

Full of enjoyment in many ways

    3

A place that must be respected

When you venture into the deep

The sea has claimed many a man

And left many a maiden to weep

    4

Don’t let me scare you of the sea

It’s yours to enjoy and explore

Just be kind to the life you find

Of this I could ask no more

    5

It’s the home of many kinds of fish

    And mammals live there too

We must take very special care

To protect them from the few

    6

Some men kill the noble Whale

And Dolphins die in their nets

If we don’t protect their world

    We will have many regrets

    SONG OF THE DOLPHIN

    1

I am a Dolphin, my home is the Sea

The sun warms the waters and I revel in it

The moon dances and I dance with her

I have the freedom no man has known

    2

To play amongst the coral reefs and pursue dreams

My body strong and sleek, I speed through the waves

I can jump and dive or swim quietly
