I wish to thank my family and friends for encouraging me to continue writing. I thank God for the many gifts He has given me. The passion I have for writing is one of those gifts. God created each of us with a uniqueness all our own. He, then gave us talents as gifts to allow us happiness and success. Most times these talents are meant to be shared with others. This book is my way of sharing the love and peace God’s gifts have brought to me.

If anything that I have written has touched even one person in a positive way and made one’s path through life easier, then I have accomplished my purpose for writing this book.

Most all I have written is applicable to most of us part of the time and some of us most of the time. My wish is to help myself and others consider another way of understanding topics and issues of everyday life.

I wish to give special thanks to Farris Bradford for giving me the photo of his wife Mary for my book. I wrote the poem, Mary, just minutes after learning of her passing. Mary was my friend since we were 5 years old. She lost her battle with cancer on January 5, 2004. Mary’s presence lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to have shared this life with her.

I wish to give a special thanks to Dr. David Kesteman of Bloomington, Indiana for his photos. David took all the sunset photos, especially for this book while vacationing in Jamaica. Every photo is breathtakingly beautiful and exactly what I visualized for my book.

May God bless and be with each of you in all things.
