Because Gail have been saved from the streets, she was inspired and sevres as a ;fisherwoman, on the street-evangelist team at her church in Palmdale Ca. When I was asked to write the forward for this book, I knew exactly what I was going to say to the readers of Not Afraid to Tell Who I Was, Because I know Who I Am
. The author, Gail, writes with complete honesty, compassion and reality concerning the dysfunctional years of her life. In the pages of her book you will find the story of a very abused and wounded little girl who knew that despite her plight, there is a God in heaven who loved her and would protect her, even in her darkest days. Many people do not really understand the unconditional love of God. The Bible states, that God demonstrated His own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us
. Romans 5:8 It is truly amazing to think that while we were doing some of the most awful, sinful things that can be done, God still had us in mind and paid for our mess while we were still in it! The Lord did not wait for us to get ourselves together and try to clean up our acts before paying the price for us. He loved us in the midst of our mess. This is truly unconditional love. Gail is one of many who has experienced and been a recipient of the Lord Jesus Christ’s unconditional love and protection. Thank you for purchasing this book. I was inspired to write the book based on my life, because I was led by the Holy Spirit of God. Hopefully this book will inspire others to tell their story; the good, the bad, the horrible and the truth. Why? Because the Bible says in James 5:16 confess your sins one to another and pray for one another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of the righteous man availeth much.
Furthermore, people are overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; not watered-down or sugar coated. When a person tells their story it brings restoration. Another benefit is that, it pulls the covers off of the devil’s lies and deceptions, because he wants to keep hiding his evil ways.
I want to tell the truth and nothing but the truth. Even if what I tell causes me to appear less wonderful, it’s only a lie! The bible says in Psalm 139:14, I will praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful I know that full well. It also says in 3rd John1: 3,4 I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren come and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walk in truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. God! Please! Heal and restore all of your wounded soldiers! Allow us to see through spiritual eyes, recognizing your greatness and the devil’s wickedness.

I dedicate this book to my Father God who loved me through all the pain, and continues to love me every day, who’s been there through the good, the bad and the horrible.
A Father who is so full of grace and mercy, who has shown me, how to love, trust and obey, loving me back to life! Who’s given me three beautiful children to save my life, giving me reasons to live and bottling up all my tears; A Father, who picked me up, when I was let down. Who has taught me things that only He could. A Father who makes my heart-smile when I think of Him and His goodness towards me, who’s always pointed me in the right direction.
A Father who has never given up on his daughter even when I was deep in sin, and knows everything about me, including the number of hairs on my head. He knows the sincerity of my heart towards His kingdom and his people. He loves me so much; that He wants to spend eternity with me. A Father who If I said one million more great things about him, still cannot describe Him and His greatness. There are not enough words that exist to really tell of Him. I love you Father!

My Name is Gail E. Davis I was born to William Lee and Carolyn Joyce Davis. When I was 5 years old, before my parents separated, we seemed to be one big happy family. My dad was in the US Army and when he came home on leave, my three brothers and I were always happy, yet, a little nervous. We were nervous because he was very strict. When he said to do something, we had better do it. One day Dad sat us kids down in the kitchen, and as he stood near the stove he turned on all four burners then started putting his hands directly above the fire. As he got closer and closer to the flames he told us, that if we don’t be good, we’re going to go to hell and burn. My father was tall with a deep voice that scared us; we were always on our best behavior when he was home. We had fun times too, I remember my 7th
