THE SHOE STORE

Patrick was stacking shoes onto a long heavily packed shelf in the small shoe store in downtown Chicago where he worked to make a little extra money when not at school to cover the rent. The store was cool today as the weather was getting chilly, even though on a summer day like this it should be hot.
