Ziah the gentle, quiet, smart princess.
Chapter 1
'Ahh!' She screamed as she slipped on the wet floor.
'Thud!' Everything from her backpack, books even her shoe went flying everywhere as she fell squarely on her throbbing backside.
'Ouch!' She said as she tried to get up while rubbing her aching bum.
I ran over to help my friend Ziah. A few kids passing by covered their mouths and snickered.
'Ziah Flyer' one of them giggled.
'Really?' I said to them, sounding a little annoyed. 'Nicknames are so kindergarten...'
I would have said more but Ziah touched my arm quieting me.
'That's ok Max, their words don't hurt but my bum does.' She grimaced.
I helped to pick up her papers, paintbrushes and other things she will use for her countless extra-curricular activities.
She quickly put on her untied sneaker and hurriedly pushed her books into her backpack. Then grabbing up her violin, her tennis racket, her art portfolio and a bunch of other things she was carrying at the same time, she rushed off.
'Wait, Ziah!' I shouted ' your laces are just gonna make you trip again, make sure you tie them. Ok.'
'Uh huh' She mumbled while holding her phone in her mouth. Her hands were filled, her backpack crammed
