About this ebook
If a great idea made you famous, despite everyone saying it was wrong, would it change your life forever?
Saif is just like any other 10-year-old boy: he loves his family, friends and going to school. One day, the students are assigned homework by their schoolteacher to describe their daily lives and worries.
Later that day, Saif sees his father preparing a work presentation about “conflict management theory” where he uses animals to represent different people’s personality traits. Saif is captivated by this incredible idea and decides to use this same method for his homework assignment. Over the next few days, Saif observes his classmates and assigns them to different animal ‘types’ depending on their behavior.
When Saif proudly submits his homework, the teacher and the school discredit his work and think that it is offensive to compare people to animals. Things then get even worse for Saif and this unfair treatment could have lasting consequences.
However, when his misadventure gets picked up by the media and his sad but inspiriting story goes viral, things become even more complicated for him.
Will Saif’s innovative work and “can-do” attitude capture the hearts of the world? And will he get the credit he deserves for creating such a unique idea? There’s only one way to find out!
“The Drawing” is heartwarming fictional short story for children 10+ that will teach them about love, acceptance, and perseverance. The charming story and easy-to-understand language make this book perfect for any beginner or middle grade readers.
You’ll be captivated by Saif’s unique story and will be desperate to keep flipping the pages, eager to find out how it all ends and if Saif will get the redemption he deserves.

CHAPTER ONE
Monday. The 21st of October.
I will never forget that day. I was ten years old and was still in primary school. Mrs. Karima asked us to write an essay describing our class, student life, and worries. At first, I found it annoying and saw it as just another homework to complete, but everything changed when I went home and found my father working on a management presentation.
I didn’t understand very well what he was doing or explaining to me. Only one thing
