About this ebook
The unknown supernaturally has made their presence known among us proving that medically theres no cure for self-defeating mental illnesses. Doctors are taught medically how to cure, treat and heal through medicine humanly, but not when it involves Demons existing psychologically.
A well-known doctor by the name of Dr. Allen with a great reputation was faced with conquering his own shadow that was Demon possessed, and haunted him. His shadow killed many leaving the evidence that lead only to Dr. Allen because witnesses saw the reflection of Dr. Allen in action. In order for him to prove his innocence, he had to allow this Demon possessed shadow to enter on the inside of him mentally so that he can control its mind; but being as it was his own shadow, made it difficult because shadows are the reflection of ones body. It became a challenge proving his innocence because it had never been heard of shadows separating and transforming into an un-humanized demon staggering alone.

Thanks goes to GOD first and far most for blessing me with the gift to write and inspire a large audience to be who they are as a writer or what ever they choose in life to do, and try not to be so perfect pleasing others.
I thank and dedicate this book to my loving husband Sedric Stewart Jr., for coming in agreement praying and believing strongly in me. And, especially for putting up with me during my late nights writing and asking many questions he patiently answered no matter how often I repeated the same question.
I also dedicate this book to my parents (deceased) Henry Wise Sr., and Betty Adams Wise for passing down the gift in how to pray daily and trust only in God
through difficulties we as individuals face in life’s circumstances.
And much thanks goes to their parents, which is my grandparents who taught them the same so that they can pass down the gift that they were taught in how to pray.
Being taught how to pray is far most the best inexpensive gift a person can receive because it’s…
• Free!
• Promises results!
• Comforts you!
• Encourages you!
• Heals you!
• Provides for you!
• Strengthens you! And the list goes on-and-on-and-on!
This is a story about a young surgeon with an excellent reputation in the medical industry achieving the highest respect from many of his colleagues, and patients throughout the community. After experiencing and hearing voices from an unknown vision, he discovered moderate medicine is not the antidote to curing self-defeating illnesses. The vision was his shadow, and this shadow was not just an ordinary shadow. This shadow was Demon possessed, controlling and followed him wherever he went. Being a doctor, he didn’t want to share this with anyone and lose the trust that he has established. People would think he was crazy or just needing to take some time off from doctoring because of being overworked. Such a matter can actually cause him his job and career. Mentally, he tried to control this shadow on his own, but the control has gotten out of control.
Now the story begins…………
Chapter One
It was 6:00 A.M early one morning when an emergency call came in about an 8-year-old boy who was in a car accident and received head injuries. Because the injuries were so severe, one of the top surgeons on duty name Dr. Allen was called to perform the surgery.
Along with Dr. Allen were Dr. Zoë, and a few more Doctors who were called in as well to assist him.
After analyzing the test results and reviewing the x-rays, it was determine by Dr. Allen that immediate surgery is to be performed.
In the waiting room waiting were the parents of the 8-year-old boy who was anxious and nervous over the prognoses, but feeling much confidence in Dr. Allen because of his outstanding reputation.
When the final decision was made to do an emergency operation, Dr. Allen entered the waiting room to get an approval from the parents, and to assure them that he’ll do everything possible to save their son’s life.
He also explained the seriousness and complications of what could happen during surgery, but he is confident it will be successful.
After answering the many questions they had, Dr. Allen left to go directly to the operating room.
As the procedure began to proceed, each Doctor took his or her position.
All of the equipments were properly hooked up to this 8-year-old boy, and orderly everyone participating was ready to begin.
With a team of great Doctors by his side, cautiously Dr. Allen started this intense and complicated operation.
In the operating room during preparation, Dr. Allen heard a sound of something strange ringing in his ear that was not of the sound of medical instruments or equipment he is use of hearing clacking against the insides of the stainless steel bowls.
The sound he heard was the sound of a voice; so he looked around at the other Doctors to see where the voice was coming from, but they all seem to be involved in what they were assigned to do.
The voice ranged again, and this time got louder, but apparently only Dr. Allen could hear it.
He looked to his right at Dr. Zoë to see if she may have said something, but no respond from her.
Dr. Zoë was deeply involved in her duties, and wasted no time talking.
His hands began to shake uncontrollably, and when Dr. Zoë noticed his hands shaking; she reached over holding it tightly asking, did he mind if she took over?
With sweat rolling down his face, he nods his head yes to her and stormed out of the operating room.
After putting on his lab coat that was hanging on the coat rack in his office, he left the hospital to go out and get some fresh air.
Sitting alone on a bench located by the beach near the hospital, Dr. Allen rested for about an hour, and before he disengaged himself from the bench, the same voice he heard in the operating room spoke again.
Dr. Allen leaned over resting on his thighs thinking to himself there’s a possibility he could be overworked and need to take a vacation.
Before he resurgent from the bench, he noticed his shadow on the ground stabilized in the same position that he was in.
When he moved, the shadow moved.
It didn’t seem out of the norm because it was his shadow and shadows are only a reflection of one’s body that’s visible, which is normal, so he ignored it as he gazed out at the beach.
His time was up and he needed to get back to the hospital, so quickly he aroused from the bench.
When he departed, his shadow departed too; but only this time to separate from his body.
Dr. Allen felt the force of the separation and looked to be sure if it was really his shadow, and not someone else or some strong wind pushing him.
He rubbed the front of his chest to feel if there’s something odd that was happening to his body, but there were nothing that was out of the norm.
He looked around suspiciously at his shadow to make sure of what he saw was real. And nonetheless, it was his shadow!
Frightening to say, but this shadow no longer moved along with him in a way that normal shadows do.
It seem odd to Dr. Allen because nothing like this has ever been known to happen per say; so he stepped back to take a second look to be absolutely sure, and still the shadow didn’t move.
He walked to the left and right side of the bench to see what would happen, and the shadow remained standing in the same position.
He tried walking around the bench hoping it would make a difference, and still nothing happened.
By this time, it was obvious this was some type of illusion taking place.
Who are you?
Dr. Allen asked the shadow. I’m your shadow who has come to get souls; and you are just the one to help me capture the souls I need,
the shadow answered back.
Souls,
said Dr. Allen in a very confused way. I do not understand your meaning of Souls.
Come on Doctor! Don’t act like you’ve never heard the word souls before.
Of course I’ve heard of the word souls, but never in my life had I thought I’ll be talking to a shadow of that sort in reference to the word souls,
spoke Dr. Allen.
And anyway, my standing here talking to you has got to be some kind of joke or prank someone is playing because you look and sound like something out of a scary movie, and if so--I’m not in the mood for jokes.
Trust me, this isn’t a joke--Doctor,
answered the shadow!
Think about it!
If by any chance this was a joke, you would not be having this conversation with me as if you are talking to another person.
Check out my body movement as suppose to yours. I’m not moving in the same concept as you.
Well--I’m going to ask you again,
said Dr. Allen. Who are you?
Must you ask that question again? Look down on the ground, and you’ll see--I’m you.
I know what I see,
said Dr. Allen, "but what I’m talking to can’t be real and has to be something I’ve imagine in my mind due to my tiredness, being overworked and lack of rest; so as soon as I turn my back from this illusion, I’m
