FOREWARD

The Soul Plane is a wondrous place. Such peace, such beauty, as much of the world has never known. My face smiles in radiant response to it, my heart beats faster in my chest and I’m filled with a sense of Love and Joy and rightness and knowing, that all is truly well.

There are no questions to ask, because the answer is always the same; Love. It is so simple there in the Realm of the Soul. There is no struggle, no worry, no strife, only peace; a pervading sense of calmness.

It is a Realm otherwise devoid of emotion which seems like a paradox except that there is absolutely no conflict of emotion; the waters are still and calm.

I do my best to remember these things when I come back down. I remember the beauty and try to look through the Eyes of the Soul. I remember the love and try to feel through the Heart of the Soul. I remember the peace and try to live the Life of the Soul. To walk with the Masters among us is to share our shoes with them. To breathe in their essence with each breath. To surrender our actions to them as guidance becomes knowing. This is our legacy for We are They.

The earth path of the Soul for each individual is as unique as our personal self expressions and as easily adaptable. In order to bring peace to our journey it is helpful to see from the Soul’s perspective. Life is a continuous process of coming and going, forming and dissolving, moving through dimensions, remembering and forgetting. And through it all the Soul remains immutable, unchanged in its essence, its awareness of itself and it’s place in the Grand Design.

The Soul is a means of interpreting the vastness of consciousness itself. A way of categorizing purely subjective experiences. Our physically focused awareness is severely limited in comparison to the knowledge of the Soul. It is no wonder the philosophers of old and new alike wrote volumes of material barely scratching the surface in an attempt at comprehension.

But the Heart knows. The raptures are real; the sense of completeness and wholeness is unmistakable. Upon the Heart we must dwell, repair the wounds, and heal the scars, to breathe once again the cosmic breath. Just for the Joy of it.

Essays such as the above are scattered throughout this book to offer the reader moments of reflection. During times of integration of the theory of enlightenment into my life, intense moments of emotional surrender merged with deep insights to produce what I call Great Human Art. In other words, the art of spiritual peacemaking comes alive within the ordinary interactions of every day living, as the process of uncovering our true nature unfolds.

INTRODUCTION

In the Beginning, there was The Word

The quest for Enlightenment, Self-realization, and Self-awareness has engaged man’s attention for thousands of years. The activity of enlightenment takes on many forms and seekers have devoted entire lifetimes, or two, or dozens, striving for that deeper understanding which seems to lie just out of reach. The hunger for this knowledge is the thing that binds us together as travelers. For each seeker, there lies a unique and specific path to walk upon. No one path is any better or more appropriate than another. In this way, each of us plays our own attainment game, each one seeks something different—a personal version of what enlightenment is, how to go about getting it, and what is relative and important in our lives. We all originated from the same non-physical domain and we shall all return there at some point. In the meantime, the exploration of the Self and the search for answers to the questions of our own existence or life purpose can be pursued from a place of pure enjoyment. Given the right perspective, one can appreciate the magnificence of the dynamic and incredibly versatile play ground we call Earth. Identifying some of the key game parameters, those seemingly imposed by the physical world and those imposed by the little self, will assist greatly in understanding, then mastering this realm. This in itself may be your idea of enlightenment. Let us explore further.

Despite humanity’s diversity of life experience, we have all emerged in this physical world to enjoy the versatility and delectable sensuousness of the physical form. Each individual has come for their own reasons whether it’s to work on something or to work something out. The common denominator lies in the unique parameters associated with life in the physical realm. Some are imposed by physics, some by mechanical and chemical biology; gravity, inertia, and decay to name a few. All other parameters are generated by thought, such as the social and political systems created through the desires of individuals, then perpetuated by the collective momentum of attention given to these systems by generation after generation of mass expectations. Even this weight does not deter the desire to come forth into the physical to explore the vast array of experiences associated with life here. This alone is so intriguing to the non-physical extensions of the Soul that the impulse to manifest is remarkable. Some would say it is Life Itself. The Law of Attraction states: That which is like unto itself is drawn. The Universal Manager[1], that untouchable, indescribable elemental intelligence that synchronizes events, arranging conditions and co-incidence, complies and brings the two elements of the physical and the non-physical together for a joyous co-creative experience that enhances all levels of creation and resounds throughout the heavens. Ask and it is given. The Soul desires physical expression, the physical world manifests for the sole purpose of delighting Creation, and subsequently the Soul.

For centuries, man as a species has experienced separateness from his non-physical extensions, his inner guidance, and his God-Self. There exists today a great surge of momentum of desire from masses of individuals seeking a greater understanding of their own true nature. This momentum merges into a collective desire to improve life on an individual scale as well as a planetary one. It is my desire that my unique way of communicating may provide just the right words you need to hear to ignite the spark of a wondrous ah-ha! My words may shift things for you, the reader, one step further, thereby initiating the leapfrog affect that springboards others to greater insights. To share knowledge is to attract it.

By observing the past several years, I have noticed evidence of an increase in the demand for healing facilitators, as witnessed by the corresponding increase in the number of alternative healing schools and educational facilities available in the marketplace. This suggests not only a desire on the part of individuals learning about the Healing Arts, but also a potentially dramatic increase in the demand for alternative approaches to Wellness Care. Since the innate intelligence in nature always seeks to maintain balance, this observation might suggest that nature is preparing itself for future needs. The system of Reiki has provided me with the greatest opportunities for personal healing and self-development. Initially utilized some 5,000 years ago, passed along by the Master or Guru as a means of expanding the consciousness of a spiritual disciple, Reiki has evolved in the present day to a very powerful yet simple healing modality. Hundreds of thousands of practitioners across North America and around the world serve their communities through the use and instruction of Reiki, providing relief to the sick, peace to the anxious, and enlightenment to the seeker.

It is my intention to stretch myself beyond any self-proclaimed limits and, consequently, to offer energies, which are in alignment with my intention, to be transmitted through my words. Like many others before me, I just want to know how the universe works, from my own perspective and empathic understanding so I can in turn work the very fabric of the Universe and experience directly the pliable nature of our reality. My desire is for you, the reader, to awaken further to your own inner explorer, to conceive of thoughts well outside the box, to stretch your own development to new heights. My concepts are not brand new. They have been spoken many times throughout history. Similar tales have been told from many perspectives. However, the energies of the planet are different today, as they are in any time of great expansion. The veils of illusion that separate the physical and non-physical realms are growing progressively thinner so that communication between multiple planes of existence grows more consistent and persistent.

This book is offered to stimulate inner reflection as well as provide validation for those seeking expansion opportunities. For me, it is a book about Truth and Freedom, because these are my Masters. These are the energies, or Rays of Consciousness, I am most deeply aligned with. I am a willing disciple of these Concepts, just as others are powerfully commanded by Compassion, or Justice, or Humanitarian Service. There is nothing more important to me than Freedom—not just in the usual sense, like freedom of speech or freedom of expression, but well beyond. Freedom to me is a completely unfettered existence that releases attachment to all the rules, man made and otherwise. I choose Freedom from the constricting thoughts, beliefs, and patterns that have been handed down through the generations—Freedom from those that would keep me inside the box, as it were, with stoic morality or illusions of propriety. Bondage for me is to be constricted by the unconscious conditioning and programming of others, whether societal, cultural, or religious in origin. Any belief that does not reflect my True Inner Nature feels foreign and like any living organism, I instinctively resist harbouring foreign objects in my body/mind system. True Freedom also allows for every other individual to express their unique Truth without judging anyone else’s choices. Freedom of expression must apply in all directions.

I believe I have always challenged social expectations; yet, in recent years, the drive to understand my passion to recover all Freedoms has been magnified. My work in this life is to allow to the best of my ability, the essence of
