About this ebook

Intimacy is what two people share without reservations. Talking to God is experiencing intimacy like no other. Its also like talking to man, you are sure to get an answer. It may not be the answer you want, but God is always speaking if youre listening. In every relationship, there are good times and bad times. Remember marriage vows prepare you just in case it gets rough, not that it will.

The key to every great relationship is intimate communication. When you are intimate you are real. you are true. Going into any relationship with the right motives and intentions is the foundation of true friendships and love that will last a lifetime.

"This book addresses the many complexities of the waiting game, the trusting game, and the journey of self and relationship with God. The "voice" of the story is very personable and real."

- Melissa Jordan, author of "A Place of Solitude, 100 Days of Transformation"

I am grateful to have family and friends who love me for me. I thank God for my children. Kim and Marcus, my life so much sweeter because of you. This book is dedicated to my mother, Mary Barbour. She is my hero. She taught me how to love, pray, and have faith.

    Preface

Midnight is the beginning of the hour of power in the spirit realm. It is symbolic of a spiritual peak of maturity that culminates in the amassing of celestial forces dispatched to change things in the earth. Prophetic experiences with events happening at midnight signal changes on the cosmic front of God’s creation. They indicate power shifts in His plan and typically reveal altered states of existence for the inhabitants of the earth. Midnight is a time of shifting.

Morning is indicative of a time soon to come. It is the lapse of time that is between darkness and light. One second after midnight is morning. Morning represents hope in a fresh start; which brings new opportunities. When daybreak enters, a light appears. Morning to some of us is a moment of revelation. You can be in a dark or a night situation and it can still be morning.

We often toil through the night not realizing that morning has come. The hours between midnight and five a.m. are the most industrious for the spirit realm. Supernatural spiritual activity, whether it’s good or bad, occurs. While many mothers pray in the midnight hours for their wayward children to come home, there are parties that don’t get started until after midnight. These spiritual influences are at war to see who will win.

With spiritual maturity comes an assignment. Your assignment could be to encourage, exhort, pray, minister, or give wise counsel. You may be the type of individual that is most creative after midnight. Many refer to this as the night owl. You tend to sleep during the day and stay up at night. Even if you have to be at work early, some of the best inspirations or revelations come during the night. The night season or time in your life must be discerned. It is good to know where you are spiritually at all times.

In life, everything doesn’t always fall into place when you are at your best. You know, when the money is flowing or the healing has come. Sometimes it’s when your back is against the wall, the bank account is in the red, or when you haven’t worked for months, is when the most amazing things happen, first in the spirit, then in the natural. You can go from not having money, to having millions or from being Holy, single, and celibate to being happily married. That’s because one minute after midnight is morning. It is that simple. The key is deciding how long your midnight will be. As you speak or commune with God in the night, embrace your morning. God, through His wisdom, often cause us to speak to the midnight to bring forth the morning.

I would like to confess. I have not always had the personal relationship with Jesus Christ that I have today. I was raised in the church. I served as a choir member, an usher, an intercessor, and most of all a worshipper. My purpose in writing this book is to share with you some of my personal experiences, as it relates to being single and saved, along with a few of my friends. I believe that who you love, as well as friendships, is an intricate part of your destiny or the purpose that God has for your life. Along the way, a few of my friends have shared some amazing stories of what their idea of being in love and living happily ever after should look and feel like. I just want to say before you judge me; I have changed the names of my friends and their detailed circumstances to protect their innocence as well as mine.

While writing, there were some things I tried to leave out; however, my spirit leaped as I wrote, and that was when healing came. This book will make
