Dedication

As I began to write this book, the Holy Spirit was and is upon me and dwelling inside me. I thought about dedications, and who it needs to reach. Well, this book is for all those ladies out there who thought a Jesus kind of love for them wasn’t possible. My friends know who they are. You all need to know that God loves you. You also need to know that I have a Jesus love for you… Some say it’s impossible. It’s only impossible when you’re unclean and infecting everything you touch.

Friends of mine that reside in Corona, Chowchilla, and Elmwood, the Lord hears your pain and agony regardless of what you’ve done. The reality is that it took being in a public or private hell hole to realize your worth to the Kingdom of God. We have risen against all kinds of circumstances, but God requires us to rise to the occasion in His precious name.

I have a friend that has been in the same position as I have been. The struggle to make it against all odds, and still be alive to tell the testimony. Kim Alston aka Silky, you are still here. No more is all I have to say. You are no longer a victim to other people’s issues. You have the power and authority to move forward in all that you do. Trescia, I haven’t met you yet, but I am trusting in God to make the connection in His timing.

To Evangelist Marvin Scott I have watched you grow spiritually. Marvis you are my friendgurl. We agree to disagree I think it took two years before I gained trust. You. too have come through some Rough Rider situations as a single mom. I have seen you grow tremendously to the point that you earned a Bachelor Degree in Theology. When you wanted to quit, you kicked and screamed yelled at me, well look at God, He still got the Glory, and you are now the secretary for the seminary, and moving up in your secular job. Keep on moving don’t stop!

To all the women that are still wrestling with Satan’s imps, be careful. He is real and the root to all confusion. Stop playing with him. Ladies in the church, stop perpetrating to be seen. Get up and do something for another sister that needs a pair of shoes, hat, purse, dress, etc. God is not pleased with what you have on. Donate and support others who are standing in front of the tabernacle doors exposed. Pick them up if you can, if you can’t, you need to be cleansed as well. Having a position in church doesn’t make you clean! Being a preachers wife doesn’t make you clean, being a deaconess doesn’t make you clean, and having money doesn’t make you clean. Go to the Looking Glass and find out who you really are and then shake the dust from your feet and travail to the next level with the Holy Spirit leading your every step.

Archbishop D.D. Scott is my daughter. When she first approached me with the prospect of writing the forward for her second book, I must admit I was over-joyed! However, a question arose for me as to how? Could I as her father write an un-biased forward and still promote the truth of Gods Holy word? The answer that I searched for was already before me in the formed words of her book Keeping It Real the Answers 2 Your Questions.

From the moment I read the dedication I knew it was on! The power guiding the woman behind the words took center stage over all I would think as her father. I was caught up! In the Holy Spirit Hallelujah!!! Each content in the table is a step on the ladder of faith, revelation upon revelation. The light of Gods revelations not only uncovers the darkness of ones inner soul, but also sheds light to guide one from that darkness to His Divine Glory.

The first step up the ladder begins with getting it straight. In this content knowledge is shared of Gods creation of Adam and Eve, the sin of their time to its effects on our times. Within this same content we are given glimpses of the first Exodus and the establishment of the First Wilderness Tabernacle. The truth, what can be more real than that!

The journey towards redemption continues through the next two contents titled The Ultimate Sacrifice and In the Looking Glass. In the Ultimate Sacrifice we are shown that where once there were only goats and bulls to be sacrificed soon there would be a man! A perfect man. As you read forward to In the Looking Glass you will see that our reflections of what we think is perfection are contrasted to that of the perfect man in the person of Jesus Christ. Dr. Scott does not hold back freely sharing with us the word God has shown
