Mary, Mother of Jesus

King Davids lineage ends with Jesus through Mary, a woman who God has placed above even man, as He permitted Mary to beget a Son, without the seed of man. He bestowed the greatest honor, as a sign of respect, not to man, but to woman, and specifically a woman of a long line of Levite Priests, our blessed Mother Mary, Blessed is she among all women. Blessed is the fruit of her womb, Jesus! The line of Kings ends with a woman, Mary, so that no others may claim the right to sit upon the throne. Mary is the last to have the inalienable birth right to the throne of Adam. Belief in Jesus gives us an inheritance to the throne, not because of anything we have done or because of our position in life, but solely because of Jesus and His position promised by God in the very beginning in the book of Genesis. Ladies, this is the level of respect, honor, and grace which has been, is, and will always be given to women by God. God recognizes women with precedence and therefore, no other being has any right or authority to usurp that which He has bestowed upon women. It is time that all of mankind recognize women based on this precedence, granting them equal respect, honor, and dignity in all matters. For it is written that woman is graced with the power of the Angels (1 Corinthians 11:10, emphasis mine), For this cause ought the woman to have a power on her head because of the angels, which is the authority over womannot mankind (KJV Study Bible, 2002).

Author’s Note: I have gone through that which no parent should ever have to endure—the loss of a child. That loss is nothing short of a holocaust of pain. You can bet that I was angry with God, and that He and I had more than one angry conversation and screaming match. But God had already made provisions in mine and my son’s lives way before this time and continued to provide through that time. I prayed daily that God would protect my son and keep him safe. And God did just that, for He has never once promised to protect our earthly bodies, only our souls. And so He has.

Introduction

I have often wondered what set the ideals in motion that men were, and remain superior to women. Why is it that men are considered the gender and sex that God bestowed intelligence on and therefore the sex worthy of continued knowledge, possessing the exclusive rights to instruction as divined by God? Why have men denied women, since the beginning of time, the gift of priesthood and disrespected women in the Science, Math, and Architectural fields? Is it by divine prejudice which should defy a woman’s right to the gift of a logical intellect and affording her recognition to mentorship in these fields? More women are bringing home more money than their husbands/significant male partners, graduating from college, and changing careers later in life, yet they are still not meritoriously recognized as prominent members of their society—where ever that happens to be. Why, Instead of offering encouragement, men feel inadequate when their female counterparts earn more than they do? Why are women, after thousands of years, still suppressed and not receiving recognition? Why have women had to continuously fight to be recognized in order to gain equality in basic civil rights given to all by God? For God’s sake, why does mankind (mankind includes men and women) not appreciate women, descrying women’s equality of humanity to men? Then it hit me—that’s exactly why women receive negligible recognition, denying them mankind’s respect, mutual consideration, and equal civility—for God’s sake!!

It’s for God’s sake that men have suppressed women and women have permitted their own suppression. Let us examine this for just a moment. The word Sake means to gain an advantage. Man lost face in the garden, face being the respect and recognition that man had been given advantage of from God, and wanted to gain God’s advantage once more. He blamed woman for his own mistrust of God’s love for man, thus the advantage, by stating this woman you gave me gave me the fruit and told me it was good. So in essence, man (Adam) indirectly blamed God for his own disrespectful indiscretion against God and attempted to regain God’s advantage by blaming woman. Man has been doing this ever since and woman has been letting him because she feels guilty and at fault for mans’ choices simply because she offered that which she was deceived to partake in. Woman feels she is the reason why man does what he does—he hits her because she makes him, he’s angry at her because she makes him angry, and on and on and on. Not one person can make another think, say, feel, or do anything—that person thinks, says, feels, and does because they WANT TO!

Back to God’s sake, man and woman had forsaken themselves through original sin, suppressing their faith in God and His love for them. Man had forsaken both of their very life essence because of pride, driven by their ego (escaping God’s overtures), as Adam, not woman, was directed by God about the tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil and was given the responsibility of stewardship over woman’s very life essence within that direction. Yet, even though Adam chose his own ego driven prideful conduct over God’s unconditional love, trust, and care, Adam and woman are still offered the unconditional love, trust, and care by God. "For God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son, so that whomever believeth in Him shall never parish and will enjoy everlasting life" is God’s continuing unconditional love, trust, and care for each of us. God had to expel and exile Adam and his family from the Garden of Eden for their own sakes (benefit, gain, advantage), not because He had forsaken them—or us. He suppressed our inevitable pain of knowing evil at its very core, which is the death God told Adam they would surely endure. God could have let the abruptly known nature of evil take its course on all souls of mankind, which would have resulted in permanent death to each of those souls, yet He chose to love us unconditionally and give us an opportunity to choose wisely between future good and evil—beginning with Adam and woman. Adam and woman now possess the difference between good and evil, with one definitive difference—they also possess limited sight because they now permit their tiny little monkey brains to be controlled by their big fat egos. Exaltation was a gift, a form of suppression from the manifestation of evil within their lives which was now very probable and possible because of God’s unconditional and unlimited love and care, not in spite of it. I can imagine the pain and anguish felt in all of heaven over this decision. The fault of Adam and woman, brought on by their ego driven thought processes is that they were now no longer worthy to look upon His face and remain within His companionship. We could be no further from the truth.

Being that I’m a water element with an old soul, I’m very inquisitive, not unknown to be considered anal, I wanted to find out how this all came about and why it is, has been, and remains, so ingrained in our world. I dove into sociological, psychological, spiritual, and biblical studies, beginning with the Beginning, "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and Word was God". (John 1:1). I researched the Greek and Arabic meanings of our English words I read, and re-read, the Bible, from the Book of Genesis to the Book of Revelation. I listened intently to Pastor Rodney, Cary Calvary Chapel, Apex, NC and his divinely given insight to God’s word. I learned the truth from PR, for he doesn’t mince words nor does he care if he offends someone with the truth of God’s word. So if my writings offend someone then they must be truth, proving PR and I have chosen to follow the path of Jesus—for He offended many with the truth. I have learned that when one is offended than one has committed an offense to take defense with.

I am a wo-man on a spiritual quest for truth of God from God, for He has proven to me within the Bible that man cannot be succumbed to, or believed in, to lead woman in her spiritual quest for divine kinship with God and all of His creations. I chose to write with my own understanding, as well as the truth of understanding by God’s stewards—like PR—of what God has been telling mankind in the Bible since the beginning of time.
