    The people who deserve the credit for the writing of this book are my five sons (Roy, Herb, T.J. Randl, Shaq) and my husband (Ernest). They have been the forces behind my desire to conquer my goals and dreams. I have some daughters in my life that I did not give birth to, but they are also inspirations to me when I talk about the next dream; they are Shamia, Javonda, Jaqwonda, and Shaye.

    I hope they are ready for the next BIG dream coming soon that I haven’t told them about!

    Additionally, I can’t name all the people who have been important in my journey as teacher, secretary, law enforcement officer, business woman, radio talk show host and now author of Don’t Get Bitter, Get Better. So I’ll just say that I have been blessed with family, friends, teachers, co-workers, role models and mentors throughout my career that somehow played a part in the writing of this book.

    She reflects on one particular sermon that came from Proverbs 10:22 that read, The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. God promised us the blessing. It’s very simple; the blessing covers everything.

    This is it she thought;
