A family
When we are born we are born into a family. As we grow up our family takes care of us until we have grown enough to graduate from high school and we are ready to go to collage or the military or we are ready to go out on our own. We then become a family of one or until we find that special someone to spend the rest of our live with. There are other types of families that we can become of is the playhouse in which we do plays together and during that time of practice and preparation for the next play we form a bond with each other. Another type is a service organization in which the same results are found. The other is being on the job where we work with one another. These are just a few examples of the many types of families that we can belong to. Our families will always be there for us when ever we need them in good times and bad times.

A Peaceful Journey
I am sitting here listening to relaxing music when my mind thinks of a peace full place to visit. The temperature is 70 degrees out the sky is a nice shade of blue and there are no clouds at all before me is a gravel road with trees on each side that are in a straight row with the branches connecting above making it like a tunnel but with trees. As I begin my walk down the gravel path I see the gentle rays of sunlight coming through the trees and I soon feel the warmth of the sunlight as I walk. Soon there is a gentle breeze that helps make this journey more wonderful to enjoy. I hear the beautiful songs of the birds that rest in those trees and I feel as if they are singing to me. All the stress worries the tired worn out feelings begin to melt and slowly drain from my body as a sense of peace and tranquility soon takes their place. I now feel relaxed and I begin to lose myself in that peaceful journey that I am on. I feel as if I have a blanket of joy that’s wrapped around me an it makes me feel so wonderful that I am giddy as a school boy without a care in the world. Soon I will have to return to the real world but I know that place will be there for me any time I want to go for a peaceful journey

A Summer Storm
It is a very beautiful summer day. The sun is out and there a few clouds. The temperature is in the mid 80’s. As the summer day gently rolls on I begin to notice how more and more clouds begin to come in and cover the blue sky. Now there is no more blue sky that is noticeable. All the clouds begin to darken the light that there is. Soon a few rain drops begin to fall. Now as more and more rain drops begin to fall. Soon the gentle but calming rhythm of the rain begins as the summer storm takes flight. I can hear the soft but not to loud of the rumble of the thunder as it rumbles its way across the stormy sky. I close my eyes and listen to the beauty of the summer storm as it goes along. Now the rain begins to let up and the thunder becomes more distant as the summer storm comes to an end. While the clouds begin to part and the warm gentle rays of the sunlight begin to come through. I can now smell the freshness that is left behind from the summer storm.

A Vision or a Dream
Throughout time we see or hear about a certain person whose vision or dream has come true. It is not every often that this happens cause when it does it is so special and so rare that it takes several decades to come about. Here is what I mean. The first one is Dr. Seuss. Who came up with the Lorax green eggs and ham the Grinch who stole Christmas and many more. The second one is Charles Schultz who gave us Charlie brown snoopy and the rest of the gang known as the peanuts. I think that one who has had the most affect on us is Walt Disney. The impact that these people have on all of us helps them to keep their legacy alive for a long time to come.

Accomplishments
During and throughout our lifetime we do a lot of things some good some better and some that we can feel like we accomplished something. It all starts with our childhood as we begin to grow and learn. When we are in school we learn things that will help us out in later in life. Once we get through with school we begin to take what we have learned and apply it to every day life. One of the most important things that we can feel like we have accomplished in life is a place to stay a job and a vehicle in which we get around in. There are other things that we can feel like we accomplished things in our lifetime like a job well done getting something paid off and other things like that. These accomplishments can either be big items or small items and they can even take a lifetime to accomplish. So the next time you accomplish something take pride in it knowing you’ve done a wonderful thing.

An Angel Named Mom
To a very special angel who came into my life
You asked no questions but went straight to work
You cared for me as if I was your own
A special gift from you to me
Oh how the years have flown by
With each year more special than the last
You’ve been there in the good times and the sad times
Knowing that everything would come out okay
The memories that we treasure as the years go by
How the love between a mother and son grows and grows
When you have two kind and gentle hearts
That soon become as one
What a special bond indeed it is
Between a mother and her son
Though the years come and go
What we have can’t ever be broken
I have this to say
There is nothing that can compare to what we have
So when we look back through the years and the memories
Knowing that we were meant for each other
The love and joy we will always share
Are far more special and rare
Than any money or wealth
That we find here on this earth
So let the heaven rejoice and the angels sing
For on this special day
I love you mom
And thanks for every thing
Happy Mothers Day
From your son Chris
Now and for ever more
Your loving son Chris Hodges
Believe
In this day and age the need to believe in something is great. Whether it is a hero or a god or if you are a kid the little things like Santa clause Easter bunny or even the tooth fairy. To some the things a kid believes in may seem silly to most adults but it’s not silly to the kids and the things adults believe in may seem silly to the kids. No matter how silly something seems to each other they are important to that person. The belief will vary from person to person because one or a group of people will find that this belief is important to this group and not to another. We also have people who are role models and the way they
