About this ebook

This book fully gives a message to all those who believe in Jesus Christ, His
coming and life after death. Its contents direct you how to be with Jesus
Christ, and how to follow in his footsteps, in order to enjoy the awesome life
after this life on earth with Jesus Christ.
We must always trust in the Almighty God, always pray constantly, and always
believe deeply in Him. His promises and what he will do for us, for He will
never fail you as His promises are so true.
In Matthew 23: 33, Jesus said, Ye serpent, ye generation of vipers, how can he
escape the damnation of hell?
If our wishes are not to be in that place hell, then we must accept Jesus Christ
as our savior, and say, Jesus is Lord. He is the King, He is the Majesty, and He
is the only one for us to believe in and to worship so our lives will be saved.
According to Romans 6: 4-6, It is said, that we buried with him by Baptism
into death: and after that was raised from death by his Father and into the
newness of life, and this is exactly what God the Almighty promised us if we
have faith and follow his commandments Providing we all obey Gods word
and instructions, we will and all be glorifi ed by Him.
In Romans 8: 35, it is said Who shall separate us from the love of Christ, shall
tribulation or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or peril of the
sword.
And in Romans 7 :24-25, Paul said, Oh wretched man that I am! Who shall
deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our
Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the Law of God; but with the fl esh
the law of sin.

…………………………………………. My name is Hubert Winston Anderson. From a very young age I was always interested in reading and writing, and with such interest, I read many books and of course did a lot of writings otherwise. Since I had the ambition, the desire, the perseverance and determination as I grow older, I went forward towards my goal in writing. Since then I have written and publish a couple of books. The first one is Titled “The Whiz Kid’ which is a romantic fiction, 420 pages. The second book “101 Poems, quotes and Verses”. I am confident when you read those books, it’s a guarantee you will find satisfaction that you have never experience before in all your reading. Having stronger faith and confidence in myself, I embarked on writing more books and all kind of books. This book written by me, “Looking Forward” has to do with Christianity, and I thought of this book, soon after I turned my life around and give my life to the Lord Jesus Christ. If you are a person who is looking forward to a better life of prosperity, for sure you will find this book exactly what you need for such progress. I am from a family of six, four boys including myself and two girls, and we had an awesome mother and father. My father was a business, a farmer, a tailor, a barber and also construction, and my mother was a dressmaker and home maker. They were two Godly and decent parents, who made sure their children were taken good care of, and did all that was right in the sight of God. My education at such time took me to grade eleven, and from there I joined the Police force doing service for almost four years. It was a very good profession, but my heart and mind wasn’t with it, so I left the force and did some travels. After traveling abroad I did some schooling in income tax and book-keeping, obtaining a certificate from the London School of Business in Book-Keeping. Also from about the age of seven, my father gave these lines to me as a keepsake. READING makes me a full man, WRITING makes me an exact man, and CONFERENCE make me a ready man. Those words I recorded and took along with me in all my diaries, as they formed a part of my goal to move forward into all I had the desire to pursue. Our parents always instructed us to love Jesus Christ and to pray to him continuously, no matter what time of the day, and not only if we had problems, being in trouble or in-need of something, because God is not there only for our convenience. This we all did as brothers and sisters until this day. At first I wanted to be a lawyer, but because of some unforeseen circumstances I just did not make it. In respect of that, I accept the setbacks, but still hope and pray for some thing, and whether my hopes or dreams reached or not, In heart and mind I would feel free of negligence. I would still be free and great otherwise, and of course very much content with my achievement. Along the way I continued to put my trust in the Almighty God as time goes by, hoping and praying for some thing better each day. Reading and writing on a continuous basis, I was convinced that I had to write some books, so in publishing my first two books, I am proud of my achievement at this time with my effort and determination. At this time I am living in this beautiful, clean and progressive country, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I am married and with my wife we have three lovely children, two boys and a girl. I recalled our parents always encouraged us to live for Jesus Christ, no matter where we are or what we would be doing in our lives. During my working career, I worked as a barber, a car salesman, in sales appliances, transportation, and I was also a disc jockey for many years. I am now retired to concentrate on my writings. I hope and pray that all readers will find satisfaction and lots of to uplift your future lifestyles from this book. Thanks. H.Winston Anderson.

    My Prayer.

Lord, grant me your blessing to do your work, and to honor all your commandments.

Oh! Father God I lived for you today. Please continue to use me as one of your messengers to spread the gospel and the word in your name to all who will listen to me.

I will forever praise your name for you are the only God I know. Thank you, dear Lord for your wonderful and everlasting blessings each minute of the hour and of the day. Lord, I have now given my life to you, and I have confessed all my sins openly to you.

I love you Lord Jesus; I love you Jesus, please forgive me for all my sins this day, and forgive all others who call upon you this hour. To the cross you went Lord Jesus, to save me from all my sins, and to prepare a place for me in your kingdom. Thank you Jesus for your forgiveness, as I opened the door of my heart to you.

My heart was not right Lord Jesus, but as I look forward for your blessings, YOUR forgiveness and everlasting life, I am ready to be with you in your kingdom. I know that if my heart is not right with you father God, I just cannot move forward or look forward for a better life of prosperity in your name, and this, is according to the scriptures. Psalm 78: 35-39.

    ‘From My Thoughts And Advices’

In order to write this book, I read the Bible through in a year, made notes of many things I wanted to write about before I started my writings.

I wasn’t able to elaborate in details in respect of all the wonderful advices and instructions of the Almighty God and his son Jesus Christ, because I do not hold myself that versed or learnt as other great writers.

Anyway, I confidently believe if one wanted to do something, and with determination, faith, believe, confident in oneself, with prayer and solid faith in Jesus Christ, one can do it. I know that whatever we need to do and to succeed, we must always call upon the Lord and He will give it to us.

I will assure my readers that many nights when I go to bed and thought about my idea, and as I continue to read, many titles regarding my book came to my mind, and I made notes of them, to a total of eight titles.

Many weeks as I continued to read I pondered over those titles, before I finally settled on this one. As I Look forward, I will be praying to God, and asked Him to continue blessing me with perseverance and my faith in Him to pursue my goal, and as I said before, whatever we need, just call upon God and He will grant it all to us.

In starting this book, I felt a sense of relief in my heart, and I know God hath heard my prayer therefore I went straight into my writing.

Soon I started to put some sentences together that I believe made sense, and when I was about fifteen pages into my bits and pieces in writings, I got to my computer. Again I never knew anything about typing, but my wonderful children gave me a computer and showed me how to type.

Believe you me my arms and fingers were so tired in the first month that I wondered if I should bother about the book. Anyway I continued to pray and to ask God for His wonderful blessings in good health and patience.

For sure my faith in God and my determination to type made me move forward with this book.

As I continued to read the Bible again, and to write, pray and keep my solid faith in God, I realized that I was having more strength and energy to get along with my task. God was with me, so I believe I could make it, so of course there was no turning back. If we really want to do something good, and we really put our trust and faith in God along with the effort, He will bless us and make all our hopes and wishes come through.

    Introduction.

To my Christians readers, brothers and sisters, God bless you all.

I remember my mother told all her children that Jesus was preparing a lovely place for us, when we were very young, but as I grew up and read the words of the Bible for myself, and in the book of John 14:1-4, that told us how much Jesus loved us, and that He has gone to prepare a place for us, and as soon as He prepare that place He will come again to take us there.

I was more than convinced knowing this is the love He has for us because He wanted to know we are all there with him. Revelation 21: 2-4, John said he saw the holy city coming down from Heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. Behold the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and we shall be His people.

God shall wipe away all tears, and there shall be no death, neither sorrow, nor crying, and neither shall there be any more pain or suffering, for the former things would be passed away. So as we look forward to a better and everlasting life with Jesus Christ and His Father, we must take into consideration very seriously, all those beautiful words.

My name is Hubert Winston Anderson, and to this hour I am feeling more than confident that I was born into a Christian family. I recalled from the day I knew myself, and after I began to talk, and understand my parents, I was always a happy boy. My mother took all of us to Church every Sunday and then after service she would send us to Sunday school. Our Sunday school was not kept at the Church but at the home of a teacher from our school who was also a member of our church, and she had a very nice home with a large green lawn. My mother was a dedicated member of the Baptist Church in which she was baptized, and right into her last hours she was still dedicated to the Baptist Church at eighty four years old.

My father was baptized and became a member of the Presbyterian Church and no one could ever convince him to change from the Presbyterian Church; so he remained in that church until we lost him at nine-two years old. All my family and relatives are dedicated members of their Churches and this dedication came from our parents who first took us to Church and taught us about Jesus Christ, his Father and Eternal life.

Throughout my entire life, after becoming an adult and away from my parent’s home, and attending to my own responsibility, I always attend Churches, although it was never on a regular basis because of my new family and the pressures of work just to provide bread on the table for everyone. Anyway this did not hinder me from serving God or leaving Him out of my life at any time. I knew without Him, and without any doubt in me I just could not go on, I could not succeed, and I could not survive this long without Jesus Christ as my personal savior and leader.

To whoever don’t believe in Jesus Christ, I would advise you, to change your mind and look to him, because He created and loved us, so he will do and give us anything for our happiness and contentment.

    ‘My Mother’s Advice’

Our lovely Christian mother, who was so charming,

Our mother was so sweet, caring and loving.

A God blessed mother, who was filled with tenderness,

Never a day passed by, that she wasn’t gracious.

Wonderful moments we all spent together, so

In us, beautiful mother your memories lived forever,

You taught us how to live and how to love,

So, out of our memories you will never be removed.

Into God’s kingdom, you are now treasured,

And from your thoughts are gone, the world’s pressures,

God loves you mother and we know you are blessed,

As we pray, and hope for your peaceful rest.

    ‘As I look forward’

I quite remembered our parents always encouraged us to go to Church, but our mother who was really a true Christian was the one who made the real push for us to do so. She told us that the Church belonged to everyone, and no special person whether one was rich, poor, wealthy, educated or a beggar. God loves everyone and therefore He did not want to see anyone in need, anyone to suffer, scorned or left out on the side line that leads into Heaven. Everyone that walks into a Church to listen to the message of God, are one people, and none is above any other in God’s Church.

When we leave that Church we may do as we like, as no one else would be seeing us except the Almighty God. In church each and everyone are equal and therefore must be treated with respect, and in that loving social togetherness God wants us to live. Many ministers seemed afraid to shake hands with members of their Church after and before a service, but it should never be so. The congregation is what made the ministers happy, and if they are not there, then there would be no Church to build or expand. All people are welcomed, accepted, recognized and loved in the house of the Lord, so the courtesy of the ministers are always appreciated by the congregation. Please read Colossians Chapter 1: 1-29.

God gave Moses the Ten Commandments, and one of them said Thou shall not covet thy neighbor’s house; thou shall not covet thy neighbor’s wife or husband, their maid servant, neither their ass, neither anything that is thy neighbor. Exodus 20: 17.

That Commandment actually shows what love is all about, and that’s exactly what God wanted from all of us, love and respect, because if we love, respect and appreciate our neighbors, we would never do those things.

Matthew 5: 43-46, actually it was the same message Jesus impart to his disciples, when He told them to love their enemies and bless them even if they persecute them, and in doing so, He will make the sun to shine upon them. Unless we are fools or idiots we could never need any better or more perfect instructions as those words by God and His son Jesus Christ.

To everyone who really loved Jesus Christ and want to inherit His blessings and to be in that beautiful kingdom, let’s follow all His instructions.

In St. John 14: 14-16, Jesus told His disciples that if He hath washed their feet, so we should also wash other’s feet as an example, as none of us is better than the other, because the servant is not greater than his Lord, for He (Jesus Christ) is not greater than who sent Him to do His work.

We should always try to do our best for those who at times cannot help themselves, and show how much you appreciate them.

    ‘Suggestions’

In this book, titled Looking Forward, I will be referring to many chapters and verses from the Holy Bible, that I hope you will all find sometime to read and reminiscence, and I am sure that your faith and confidence in Jesus Christ will be enhanced, as I am feeling about myself today. So as you read these words, please take the time, to think deeply on all the promises of Jesus Christ. He gave his life for all of us, because he loves us and he wanted all of us to be saved and be in the Kingdom with him.

Now please do not criticize me too much, as I told you before that I am not a versed or trained writer as others. Read and refer to all verses with sound understanding, and I am pretty sure you will find the contents of this book very interesting and inspiring in some way or the other. Looking forward is intended for everyone, whether you are a Christian, a half Christian or a non-Christian, but still care to look forward for everlasting life and happiness with Jesus Christ.

I know we are not all Christians in this world, and we are not all believers in Jesus Christ and his Father either; so it would be very difficult to even try to convince each and every one to really believe in Jesus promises, his commandments and his teachings.

Sure there are many of us who do not believe there is a God who created this world, who created and breathe life into us, and who gave up his only son to die on the cross for our sins. Many do not believe that there will be life after death, and a better life than we are all enjoying at this time.

As for me I know without belief, faith and dedication to something worthwhile in my life, I just could not move
