About this ebook

If you are a minister, have a minister, know a minister or know someone else that has or knows a minister, this book is an absolute must read. Money and sex are two of the biggest culprits of our time and being in the church is no guarantee to immunity. The real names have been changed to protect the guilty and should the likeness of any character in this book appear to resemble any individual, it is purely intentional. True to form, I have deliberately resorted to the act of embellishment on certain factual like accounts in this book, purely for effect of it all.

Dr. Timm's has written this book to let the children of God everywhere know that you are not alone and that the goings on at your local church is not an isolated incidence. Every church needs to have a Pastor/Minister, but know this, God has an all Seeing Eye and He has not forgotten about your plight. I dare you to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, let Him fix it, wait on God, He will show up and He will definitely show out. Not only will we have to pay for our wrongdoings, but they that have pleasure in them will have a price to pay as well;

Preacher, or Ecclesiastical Pimp! - Dr. Louis Timm's

    1

    BISHOP JETT BLACK

    Galatians 1:8

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

While going through some of his old papers, Bishop Puir White’s executor found a journal, that unbeknownst to anyone, he had kept down through the years and it was a literal journal of the organization from its humble beginnings right through to the lap of luxury. It seems that he had kept very good notes on many of the goings on in what could almost be deemed a secret society within the church world. Upon finding the journal and reading much of its contents, it was turned over to Dr. Louis Timm’s some fifteen years after Bishop White’s very timely death. Dr. Timm’s himself then held on to it for nearly two more years pondering whether he should expose all of these new found revelations. It was found to be such interesting and exciting reading that it was finally deemed quite worthy to be shared with all the rest of the world, Now let us all ponder:

    Preacher, or Ecclesiastical Pimp!

    Matthew 16:18

And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Bishop Jett Black started this great organization back in 1929, after searching for God and not finding a church or an organization to his liking, like many that had gone on before him, he went out and founded his own church. There were originally three men in the beginning, but not being able to decide even then who should be the leader, the three of them each started their own church. These three organizations have now grown to be three of the largest religious organizations in the United States today, differing only in a few doctrinal issues.

Upon founding this great organization that I am now a part of, the requirements for being a minister of the gospel were really quite lax. In the early days of the church all someone had to say was that they felt that God had called them, and they were given a license to preach the gospel, many leaders have begun churches not realizing that it is Jesus who is the true founder of the church.

    Galatians 2:4

And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage.

    Jude 1:4

"For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

In light of the many problems that were encountered in the early church, over time the requirements to become a minister of the gospel became slightly more stringent, realizing that certain individuals had ulterior motives. God and His people were not always these men’s primary concern and many times, the more naive members of the church were much like lambs among wolves.

Like most churches that start out right, Bishop Black really had founded this great organization on a biblical foundation and format, he and his wife Ultra were very spiritual, personable and hospitable people, which is what it was that helped the church grow by the leaps and bounds that it had grown by during those early years. The majority of churches that start up, even today, I believe begin with the correct intentions of doing the divine will of God, while adhering to the divine word of God. So where do we go wrong at? It sometimes seems that when God begins to bless us, whether it’s on the individual or on the corporate level, we begin to take certain liberalities which we really have no right to do, it’s God’s church and we’re God’s people, if we have any authority or position at all, it’s only by the grace of God that we have it.

    Acts 2:46-47

And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart. Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Bishop Black began the church with six members meeting weekly in his home; they consisted of he and his wife, who were never blessed with biological children, their nephew and his two daughters, and a girlfriend of one of the daughters. He called it the Church Of All Christ Heirs, C.O.A.C.H. for short. He was a tall handsome man that stood head and shoulders above most of the other men, and he was one man, who really knew how to charm the women, by this time he had also become very adept at preaching the word of God, he could preach the hens out of the hen house. It wasn’t long before his popularity had began to spread around the neighborhood and in less than five months there were almost forty of them now meeting in a storefront two blocks away from his home, fifteen months after this there were one hundred twenty five members and they were now renting a church five blocks past that old storefront, this church continued to see this kind of growth for the next sixty-five years or so and many smaller churches branched out under C.O.A.C.H.

    1st Corinthians 9:18

What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.

Throughout these years, just as with anything else that experiences such phenomenal growth, there will be problems to go along with the successes. In the early days money was always very tight and many times Pastors of some of the smaller churches had to actually take money out of their own pockets just to keep things going, but as the need for money begins to subside, if you are not most careful the greed factor for money will surely rear its ugly head. Early on, Bishop Black likewise would sometimes use his own money to keep the church going, never looking for anything in return for himself, always content to just be doing what he felt was the divine will of the almighty God.

    Exodus 36:5-6

And they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the LORD commanded to make. And Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing.

As time progressed, not only was there money left over for him after all of the church finances were taken care of, but now the members were experiencing financial blessings as well and were also beginning to buy nice things for Bishop Black and his extended family, now the one thing that people will do is ask for more and let you know when they’re in need, how often does someone say stop giving we already have too much, don’t give me anything else, as you can see in the verse above that although this is biblical teaching, it’s a very rare occurrence.

The dilemma that plagues most churches today is that when an individual starts a church, and continues on as its head for many many years, there is very little financial accountability which only leads to other problems, there must be safeguards in place that will keep us all on the straight and narrow.

Throughout history, a great many women have found themselves very attracted to a man that possessed money, wisdom or power, any one of these might suffice, two of them would be a bonus, all three would be sheer ecstasy, sure she may be attracted to a handsome man early on, but a wise woman has learned to look beyond the surface of outward beauty only, something most of us men have not yet learned to do.

Money and sex have been the great downfall of many a good man, it has ruined families, churches, organizations and nations. Often times as an individuals reputation and popularity spread, people are drawn to them, many times just out of sheer curiosity, but the charisma of an individual can and many times will keep them coming back for more, there are those individuals that just seem to have a magnetic personality where you truly just enjoy being in their presence, those people that have this charisma know it and they know the ones that are attracted to them also, be it for their personality or be it for something else.

    Matthew 18:6

But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

Early on in Bishop Black’s life, he had had his share of problems, shortcomings and improprieties just like anybody else, but he had also learned that there was a reality and prosperity in serving the true and living God. What Bishop Black had learned was that you had to know how to deal with people in a kind way, mainly the women, seeing as though they make up eighty-five percent of most congregations anyway. What most Pastors have learned is that you will always go home with more money than you came to church with, they will probably be the only ones that honestly do this also. If you can draw the women in, ninety percent of the time they will be able to persuade their children to come and become members and ten percent of the time they will even be able to persuade their husbands to join and support the church, as quiet as it’s kept, some Pastors would rather that the husband not come to church, we may or may not discuss the reasons for this later.

    1st Thessalonians 5:22

Abstain from all appearance of evil.

One of the worst things that a Pastor can do is to spend too much time at the church alone, especially when certain women in the church know this, it lacks for a bad alibi, even when intentions start out pure, it would surprise you the amount of people that pass the church on a daily basis, it does not look good nor is it safe to always know that the Pastor is there alone, it especially looks bad to see one other car there that you recognize as belonging to one of the women at the church.

It is a very natural inclination for some women to be attracted to their father, doctor, boss and or Pastor, however these men must know that there are boundaries and lines of limitation that must be established and not be overstepped, even when the attraction is mutual, it’s called discipline in some cases and a Code of Ethics in other cases.

Many of these women, although on one hand they would say that they wanted their husbands in the church, they would deliberately sabotage their relationships at home to keep him from coming to church, with him there their praise and worship would be much more reserved because he truly knows how she is conducting herself at home with him and the children.

Now Ultra Black was a praying woman, from the beginning she was always very sincere in her walk with God. When others would stumble along the way, she was always there to encourage them, letting them know that God doesn’t like ugly, telling them to come on, you can make it, just trust in God, on many occasions she had to even encourage Bishop Black, telling him that God knows what you’re doing and so do I, God’s going to get you if you don’t put a stop to it.

Many women will hang around the church infatuated with the Pastor always thinking about what if, putting their lives, aspirations and futures on hold for the long shot thought that there’s that outside possibility that if something should ever happen to his wife, or if their marriage doesn’t work out, I’ll somehow end up now the new object of his affection, never realizing that there are five other women sitting in the congregation that’s also thinking that same exact thing, a man knows these things and Bishop Black knew who these women were and so did Ultra Black and some of the others in the congregation also, she had even talked to a couple of them and told them how a lady was to conduct herself but they just weren’t hearing that and even today some of us are hell bent on having it our own way.

What has always truly amazed me, more then anything else is these women like Sister Black that will stay in a relationship with a man, knowing the indiscretions that are going on in their lives, putting their health and sometimes their very lives in jeopardy, whether they are low key or blatant about it, the women still stay, and how is a man to feel when his wife now has this new found religion that’s suppose to make her a better person and a better wife and mother, only to find out that something is now alienating her affections that she once had for only him, come on people, this is not God, and for those that want to manipulate or put you on a guilt trip telling you that God is a God of love, He’s not the God of that kind of love, He’s a God that’s about relationships and making them work, the right kind of relationships.

Sister Delia had been a very faithful member of the church every since she first joined, very dutiful, always willing to lend a helping hand whenever and wherever needed, made from good strong stock, a true prayer warrior that everyone thought of as a pillar in the church and the community. Upon the birth of their ninth child, her husband became very suspicious, he told Sister Delia of his concerns, that he could see the resemblance in their other eight children, but as this new child began to mature and grow older, it became more apparent to him that something just did not add up, Sister Delia assured him, as most women would, that this was his child, oh I know what you’re thinking, well you’re all wrong, this was his child.

It was the other eight children that were not his.

We can all look back and say what we would do, what someone else should do, what someone should have known, for the most part people are not stupid, they’re just trusting. From day one, Sister Delia had told her husband that the babies were all seven month babies, now how was he to know that she would only submit herself to him, once the monthly womanly visits that she was so accustomed to, did not show up. She may have known, but until now her husband had never suspected a thing, Bishop Black didn’t even know himself at that time that all eight of them were his. Please people; don’t speculate yet on….

    Preacher, or Ecclesiastical Pimp!

By the time his life would come to an end, this great man of God, Bishop Jett Black will have fathered nineteen children with a seventeen year age span, by seven different women who were all at one time or another a part of this great congregation. This was doing a time when the laws weren’t as stringent pertaining to paternity and support, when a woman could just go in and obtain government assistance with little or no hassle at all.

At some point in their lives six of these women had now grown to a level of maturity where they felt it would be too self deprecating to continue on as members of the church there, therefore they moved on to other churches, never revealing to most of the parishioners what had actually transpired causing them to leave, the most common response when someone is asked why they have left a particular church is that they just felt like they weren’t growing, this answer also sufficed when these women used that same old tired excuse to leave their church. If any one of these women had confronted this situation head on and demanded some kind of accountability, I guarantee you that he would not have fathered nineteen children. There was one woman there named Lillie that had stayed there at the church after having two of his children, she vowed within herself that she would be his next wife, however long she had to wait.

Someone has to draw the line and say the buck stops here, even if Ultra Black had been a little more aggressive in this situation it probably would not have gone quite this far, she may not have known about all of the affairs, but she knew about enough of them to have done something to try and put a stop to it.

As time progressed, Bishop Black would give these women a little money here and there, much like throwing a few scraps to a dog who shows the utmost gratitude, ladies, these men are not doing you a favor because they stand up and accept responsibility for what they have done, they are only doing what a real man is supposed to do, to take advantage of women in the name of religion I feel is a form sacrilege, think about this.. what do you call a woman that sleeps with a man for money?

    Numbers 32:23

But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out.

Exactly how long does and will this sort of thing continue to go on? However long someone allows it to go on that’s how long, as long as there are people willing to look the other way or to cover for someone in their wrongdoing, there are those that will continue to do wrong. God is certainly going to hold someone responsible for all of this. Not only is it our job, it’s also our obligation to make sure that we are a part of the solution and not a part of the problem.

Bishop Black’s church had now become very prosperous, this was a big part of the problem, did you catch that, Bishop Black’s church, when we begin to think of the church as anything other than God’s church, we have began the slow downward spiral of doom, the slippery slope of defeat is about to gain a victory over us, it is and always has been God’s church and God’s alone, for He alone sent His Son to save us.

    St John 1:1

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

    St John 1:11

He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him.

    St John 3:16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Bishop Black had also began to amass a great deal of real estate there in the city, on one block alone he owned fourteen pieces of residential property as well as three local Laundromats there also. Ultra was never a flashy woman, always very conservative, she didn’t even know how to drive, so a fancy car was out of the question, however Bishop Black always kept him a shiny black Cadillac, usually less than three years old, you could see its shine from a block away.

    Psalm 96:9

O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.

On the exterior, everything seemed to be going very well, after all, it’s usually only those that are closest to the situation that have any clue at all as to the fact that something may be wrong. A vast majority of the people in the church are just coming to self medicate themselves on the word of God and in turn feel that they are doing their part just by going to church, some have even gone as far as to say that certain individuals should be glad that they came to church, almost as if they think that they’re doing someone a favor, friends and loved ones, it is a privilege to be able to worship the living God in the beauty of holiness and with the great freedom that God has so lavishly provided us.

In those early years, Bishop Black probably had between sixty and one hundred speaking engagements, outside of his duties at his own church, meaning that much of his time was spent traveling and alone in hotel rooms, most of the time he was traveling solo. Surely your wives can’t always travel with you, but whenever they can, they must. In these settings, most of the time others know when the preachers are traveling alone, and at the majority of these meetings, the audience is comprised again of primarily women, it would surprise some of you some of the stories that you would hear about the revolving hotel room doors in the late night and early morning hours each night throughout the duration of some of these hotel stays. All I can say is that whether you are a man or a woman, go with your spouse whenever possible.

    1 Corinthians 9:27

But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

    Hebrews 11:25

    Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;

Sometimes we wonder why God allows certain individuals to get away with so much, while others seem to have been cut down in the prime of life. We must remember that while we look at the exterior of what an individual does, God looks at the heart and sees why a person does what he does. While some may seem to continue and prosper in sin for a season, what we may think we’re getting by with, we are by no means getting away with it. There are certain individuals that have gone out and started churches that God has allowed to flourish, only for a predecessor that would come along after them and take the church to higher heights in the Lord. Some preachers, while not obeying the word of God themselves, will cause many others to give their hearts and lives to Christ, for the furtherance of the gospel.

    1st Thessalonians 5:22

Abstain from all appearance of evil.

When your motives are truly pure, you must insure that certain safeguards are in place so that even if you do get caught in a moment of weakness, the opportunity to yield to certain temptations simply does not exist. At all cost we must not try to prove that we are some type of super human, some of us just want to show others how close we can get to the fire without getting burned, in trying to sometimes prove our own strength, we ultimately prove to ourselves our own human frailty, let us not put ourselves in certain compromising positions.

As with anything else that we may do, practice makes perfect, Bishop Black had been preaching the gospel for so long now that it was almost second nature, although he did not have much of a formal education, he had just about memorized the entire bible almost to the point that if you said anything to him biblically related, he could just about tell you where to find it at in the bible.

As time passed, there now seemed to be a gospel revival sweeping across this great nation, everywhere you looked churches where now popping up. A great many of them started out as storefronts with a handful of members, but hungry hearts were gripping people around the world and they were now being very well populated. Many, during this time that was considered the lean years in this country, were willing to sacrifice and give what little they had, to keep the doors of the countless churches that had popped up open.

At this time in the early years of the church, seven young men had already been sent out by Bishop Black and had started their own churches under his direct authority and leadership. Things were not always perfect, but these men looked to him as their spiritual father, on many occasions they were questioned as to their allegiance to him, but just as with a natural father, he may not be perfect but you’re willing to look beyond his faults with a spirit of gratitude.

The first two others to become Bishops in the organization were Bishop Skyy Blue, this was Bishop Blacks nephew who had been with him from the very beginning, the other one was Bishop BuBu Brown, who joined the organization about a year after it was first founded, he was also Ultra’s brother, these were also two of those seven that had gone out in the early years to start their own churches. Nepotism does and always has existed in the church.

    1st Corinthians 15:19

If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

Although the early years were plagued with problems, people kept coming into the church. The moral make-up of man knows that it needs a Savior to put his hope and trust in, believing that there also has to be something better after this life, this is what kept the people coming back week after week, ten cents, an attractive appearance and a good line will take you to the top in most religious organizations, this still applies even today. As we grow older we tend to believe that there has to be something better that awaits us, as we mature in Christ, we also realize that this life is fleeting and if we haven’t prepared for after this life we’ve got a problem.

After about twenty years of preaching the gospel, Bishop Black now had people calling him from all over the United States, people had moved and could
