    “Short Stories from Bad Memories,” is a collection of three short stories filled with mysterious moments that unleash dramatic decisions.

    “Sweet Vengeance,” is the story of Julie, a young girl that has to face the paradigm of doing what is right or break the law to bring justice to her mom. In the story, Julie sits in the back of a police car talking about her childhood memories, and how her life got driven by an unfair decision from her dad. Throughout her story, we contemplate the result of taking justice into our own hands.

    Detective Suan is a righteous man, well known for catching the most wanted murderer, and doing what is right in front of everybody, but that could easily change after facing the man that killed his parents in “Reflection in the Mirror.” The story's main genre is a psychological horror that explains what happened when the ones that swear to carry justice to the world get their hands tied up by justice itself.

    “Lust between shadows” is part of a bigger collection of short stories about Ana, a nun who has to face her sins every day by day. In the world she lives, slavery still exists and the shadows of the slaves are cast out by the holy church, but one day a mysterious shadow appears in Ana's room. Within that shadow, Ana explores more in-depth her sexuality, and the cruel world that she forms part off.

    Don R Thelort is a comics and graphic novel writer. His works are primarily Mystery, Suspense, Drama, and Action, but he's trying to expand into Dark Comedy. Born in Haiti, growing up in the Dominican Republic, and now living in the USA, he is fluent in Haitian Creole, French, Spanish, and English. He started writing screenplays for his high school where he got the opportunity to participate in a play at Palacio Bellas Artes, the Dominican Republic. He currently writes a script for an upcoming comic series titled, HEARTLESS, and has published a short story in Scarlet Leaf Review Magazine, August 2017. Don R Thelort is earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at Full Sail University after serving in the military.
