A Bit About Frenchie’s
!
French Bulldogs have Unique Personalities that Distinguish them from other Types of Pet Dogs. The Male French Bulldog often has a Large Head; they are Quite Bigger in Body Size and often Tend to have the Face of a Bully. Apart from this, there are Very Modest Differences Between the Male and Female French Bulldogs.
They also have Personalities that Make Each of them Uniquely Special without Necessarily Considering their Gender. Some French Bulldogs are Known to be People Lovers. They can get Along with Several kinds of Individuals while some can be a Little Aggressive or turned off at the Sight of Other Human Beings. Some French Bulldogs are Known to be Quiet, Shy and Laid back when it comes to doing Activities or Interacting with others. On the other hand, some are often Very Active, ready to Scatter and Disrupt a lot of things. Some Bulldogs are Bold and Courageous and Never Fear Anyone or Anything while Some are often so Cautious about things and People Around them.
Some French Bulldogs are Known to be Submissive pets, only doing what the Owner Tells them to do, while others are known to be dominant, acting like the Boss in Charge. Most times, the Environment in Which they live in, Substantially Determines their Personality traits. Research has Shown that the Female French Bulldog has a Tendency to be Quite Territorial and Moody. Sometimes, they can be Feisty or even Calm Depending on the Situation. However, most of these Bad Traits Often Develop Due to Lack of Quick Sterilization or Access to Vaccinations at a much Younger age. If this has been done, it will be Quite Easy for them to Adapt to other Situations as they Continue to Grow.
One Good Reason why it's Great to have a French Bulldog as a pet is Because they are Rarely Known to Bark at all. When they do, it’s to Alert, their Owners of danger, when they are in Positions of Fear or to Make their Owner Attentive about Something Unusually Strange in their Surroundings. Thus, as a French Bulldog Owner, you don't need to Worry about having a Dog that ends up Disturbing the Whole home, including Your Neighbors.
However, if you Notice that Your French Bulldog is Barking Continuously, the Best Thing to do is to Teach the Dog Some of the Commands of Quietness. As soon as He Stops Barking, praise Him or Give Him a Treat. Sometimes they Bark because they are too Full of Energy. Try to make the Dog Shed some of this by Taking a Walk. Another Thing to do when the Dog is Barking, especially in Situations of Danger, is to Stay Calm for a While because they can also Sense Your Nervousness and Frustration.
Try to Observe the Thing that is Making Them React Suddenly. If it is something or someone that they Always React to, try to Get Them Used to that Thing or Person to Avoid Future Occurrences. Because of their Short Noses, they are Prone to be More Relaxed in a Cool Environment, preferably an Air-conditioned Environment. Thus, they have No Need for Continuous Barking Activities. Their Favorite Hobby is often to be a Warmer for their Owner's laps.
Most French Bulldogs Don’t Shed a lot of Hair, so You Don’t Need to Worry About that. However, their Shedding Capacity Largely Depends on their Nutritional Habits, their Grooming Schedule and the Climatic Condition that Exists. Most times, you need to watch out for the Kind of Shampoo that You use on Them as that Might Also Significantly Affect
